4 mill
is anyone running a 4 mill stroker? what are the pros and cons,and can it survive on the streets?

Pros: big power
Cons: hard on crank bearings
Greg from HPC started a thread following a 1530 build of his, and it survived a couple hundred street miles and is going strong last I checked. Greg even said himself though...... just turbo it. Grudge racers are the only ones that could justify having a big power na motor imo. It's much more intimidating to race a turbo bike, and a grudge racer might get more money if the competition doesn't know what you're packing.

Very true. By what chris jones told me a turbo tuned correctly will last a long time, and pull big numbers.

Busa have more stroke from the factory than a zx14 and have no problems .... A motor has no clue what stroke it has .... 4 mill motor built correctly will live as long as a stocker ..

A 4 mil stroke on a 14 is 65 mm. The stock stroke on the Gen 2 busa is also 65mm.

+4mm stroke =1441cc
+3mm bore = 1450cc
4x2=1510cc

My 4 mil motor only has 800 miles on it but everything still looks great. I really like the power it makes but havent riden a turbo bike so i have nothing to compair it to.
