I go 160mph+ on spray and 130mph+ 1/8. Nooby. Was. Spinning the entire run. With my jockey which weighs 170 lbs he goes 165-170mph 1/4mile and 135-140mph 1/8 mile . On motor with 110 octane that night I went 153mph. On mr9 I have ran 157mph . Not that I have anything to prove but a couple on here can verify what I say is true. I grudge race all the time but. Whenever I run at the. Track I always have the score board on . Smokin I could care less about what you are hiding in your motor . When you want to race and stop playing games pm or, email me.

As far as the mods to my bike I have been upfront. Stock crank, stock rods, stock pistons , stock cam, no fuel controler, stock valves, stock transmission, alien head exhaust, brocks. Clutch mod, vortex sprockets, 30 shot

Obviously he has more compression, porting, valve job and some change to the cams....plus whatever other tweaks on the intake side of the engine..

That's just the basics right there....with those mods the bike will definitely make some power. We can't see inside his motor, but he's pretty much said it isn't stock.

A well built 1441 08 busa I know of makes 216 hp and runs 156. take away the 1441 and just the mods you said would be around 195 to 200hp and not run 170 on a 30 shot

A well built 1441 with a jockey should run way more than 156, imo. With the mods I listed above, and a jockey in decent air, I would expect low 160's mph.

I'm not saying what his mods are...but don't underestimate what a well set up bike can do. As for the 30 shot...you have to look at this...typical less than 30 hp shot, or true 30 hp at the wheel. I would say that you are looking at a 235+ hp (on spray) bike in this case. What that means for mph, I don't know.

Not around here. but then are mph is like yours not the 158 on stock motor stuff some guys can run. my buddy can ride pretty well and he runs 148 to 149 on his busa so if he was to go to a 1441 I'm guessing maybe 156 to 157. noway in the 160's at full weight bike. look how much weight is off of yours and you go 152. which I consider good. I don't ever go off the few bikes that go 158 to 159 stock motor.

I'm not really happy with my mph of my bike, to be honest. My bike/rider combined weight is around 690 lbs, even as light as my bike is. 152 mph on MR9 is what it usually runs, it hit 154 once. But I'm not happy with my overall tune, and I would like to see 155 mph in good air.

At the same time it seems that a lot of the #'s I see on here I never see at my track. There was a vicious fast guy out there on a light 14 yesterday...running 8.67's. This guy is like 135 lbs as well...but I didn't see the mph. This same guy I have seen go 8.62@155 stock motor 14...on a cold day (his best that day was an 8.5x).....but the mph tells you something.

But I'll tell you...all of these fast guys on here motivate me to go faster.

The son of a buddy of mine runs some serious times with one of dad's busas. I can only guess at what has been done on the inside, but I know there is at least triple the shot of nitrous than what has been talked about here. He probably weighs about 140-150 suited up. Just ran an 8.18 at 171.

Put it this way...Keith Thompson ran 7.98/172.39 on a Real Street 1000. A basically stock motor Busa with a 30 shot is not very likely to run near that mph...

165 I can see...but 170...wow!

We all know what kind of power a built busa makes and we all know what a zx14 makes , All one has to do is look at who is winning AMA Prostar super street and supersport classes to see how fast the zx14s are .. The guys on bikeland are smart and they know a ringer when they see it ..

With a 30 shot i went 163 .. It would take a bit more than a 30 to see 170 .. One local zx14 here runs 8.30s with a 70 or 80 wet shot .. 63 inches with stock wheels and hand clutch ... The motor has drop in pistons , no head work or cams .. She is a pretty good rider that weighs in at 150 pounds ..I don't think she has gone much over 170 MPH ...I'll see if i can find her MPH ..

Joey Gladstone ran 160 MPH in Super Sport at Valdosta. That is what kills me in this forum when people make uneducated statements and false accusations of anyone fast having all kinds of work done to mine and others bikes. Those supersport bikes are finely tuned machines and have tons of dyno time and very minor engine mods. My 158 seems very reasonable after looking at the results from AMA races. I am sure that with a 30 shot my bike would go close to 170mph.

Who are you saying is uneducated and making false accusations??

At any rate, it's not worth arguing over the mph...it's an ET game!

I'll take my 8.93@151 over my 9.08@154 any day.

Chad, I know you think this guy Maxspeed is really cool...and he may be. But from the way he came into the forum a lot of people are going to doubt him. And he already has said he went into the motor and is spraying...I mean, it's anyone's guess.

Who are you going to believe? A guy who wants to race to win money, or your common sense?

kind of like the guy that was in the forums originally asking about running 0wt oil with nitrous and then popped up with crazy numbers. Turned out that he wasn't spraying, but it still raised eyebrows. Anyone know who that one might have been?

Remember nooby that big MPH came with a tail wind and MR9 fuel ...With a 30 shot you can't use MR9 .. You may get a bit more than my 163 but not much .. Pump 92 or 110 race fuel is going to cost you some MPH .. Hell what do i know , give it a try and get back to us ..

Man this thread has taken some turns....Being that I am in the Midwest, as is Bently. I have to agree with him, in that we (St. Louis) dont see these 153+mph on anything stock motored (Busa, ZX14) no matter what the rider weight.. I have learned that E.T's and MPH can differ significantly depending on what region you live in. And also some tracks are faster than others...

good luck picking up 12 mph with a 30 shot. All I'm going to say is i raced in 4 different states this year and the highest mph I saw was a 130 lb rider on an 08 busa with pipe and tune and it ran 154 once and alot of 153's I still say average mph for a busa or 14 is 149 to 152 and those supersport bikes have alot of little tricks done and engine tricks that fit the rules to run that kind of mph and they make 190 or better for hp on stingy dynos.

Maxspeeds bike isn't stock motor...

You only run pro tree?

Also, being a heavy rider does slow you down. But it should also limit your ability to talk big shit too. Which it doesn't seem to do for some guys. If you are going to talk the talk...back it up.

That doesn't apply to you racers, but does to some people...
