I would rather discuss yours

Im sure you would, because his would spit out an unbelievable number too. Its cool, I have a hard time believing others are faster than me too lol, but thats the way it goes. If it makes you feel any better I have been on bikes for the past 26 years. You had a busa wee, tell me what you ran on yours all motor, and from the pics I have of your bike it was much much longer than 62"

I don't think the controversy is over a busa being fast, I think its the numbers don't match.

When you see a 232 lb. suited guy running pump gas nearly equal the mph of a 105 (?) lb. pro riding a bike that has more prep...well, of course it is going to raise some flags!!
Now, I commend the guy for his times. But I think it is only natural to question and compare when you see results that don't "seem" to add up.

The DA that day was around 250 feet, which is really good. I think I did my best times this year on about 900 feet. I'd like to get one more day out there.
But when you look at 158+ mph on 87 pump with a 230 lb. racer...well, what do you think that bike would have done with a 100 lb. guy and MR9? 161+ mph, stock motor?? I'd love to see it; that would kick ass!

You guys don't worry about his MPH .. MPH can be off from day to day at any track ... One time at BMP the right lane was reading me at 152 but every pass in the left was reading 146 .. It wasn't just me because Tommy , Jesse and Teddy had the same problem ...The next time i go down there it was reading 154 ...Funny part is both trips i had the same ETs ... So something was off on the MPH part of the clocks ... Racers ETs look just fine , maybe the clocks were off that night ?

Do you really believe it is jealousy??
I think that just about everyone can see that the mph is crazy high (even rACeRs himself). Do you really believe that a 230 lb. guy running on pump pulls the same mph as a 105 lb. jockey does on a bike prepped by Brock himself?? Now, when you take your 14 out and go 146 mph on motor with pump gas, perhaps you will have a better frame of reference.
So, when you read, basically: "Yeah, I'm 230+ lbs. suited. I took some old gas out of my lawnmower and ran the same mph as a tiny Pro Jockey runs with MR9." Yeah, it raises some questions...lol
Whether it is the clocks, or whatever, who knows?

Wee, I really don't think your calculator your using is to accurate cause I have a few tickets here where I back halved 3.25 on my 14 and I'm 220 lbs as well unsuited and racers is riding better then me. so how much hp does it say for my weight and back half? Of course I only run 150 mph.

Interesting points by all but his ET does not match his MPH. I know that sounds ignorant but even his 1/8 mph is high at 129. All of the ETs add up at all points of the track. I just don't think that the mph is correct. I think those clocks are reading really high on the MPH. I believe that it could be a stock motored bike with those ETs.

I don't know what the calculator says, but 3.16 and 3.25 are world's apart. Since hp makes the back half, I'm just saying. My bike does 3.22 on MR9, with a bike/rider combined weight of 685-690 lbs in air with a DA of about 900'. The bike is making over 186 hp SAE as well, on a stingy dyno. My best mph is 154.74, but 152.xx is typical (#'s on MR9).
I don't believe in all these calculators, either, though. Just saying that 3.16 & 158 is a lot different than 3.25 and 150 mph!
I also think those ET's are possible, stock motor...just the mph raises some questions.

Nooby ran those #'s with MR9, a good favorable wind, and as you say...his setup comes out to be about 75 lbs. lighter. I bet a typical MR9 # for Nooby's bike will be 156-157 mph...which is still excellent. But that is on MR9, with a small rider...not pump fuel with a lumberjack.
