Power Commander III Question
Interested to know if anybody's used a 08 Power Commander III on their 07/06 ZX14
Also I would like to know if anybody knows the real difference between the two units?

i talked to MANY people about putting a 06/07 pcIII on a 08, and its not reccommended. no one at dyno jet can give you a answer. the only person to give me a answer and back it up was brocks. i cant remember exactly how he explained it to me, but there is a difference and its not as easy as copying a map and pasting it. i would not do it. just my $.02

I am running the 08 Power Commander III and for some reason I am able to copy and paste the maps over to 06/07 Power Commander III with no problems .. I was so impressed I sold my 06/07 Power Commander III.
I have no idea but with the same map on the dyno I pick up more horsepower with a 08 Power Commander III on my 06 motorcycle.
I called the company dyno jet to discuss this issue and I am sending them the information on the dyno results.. Same temperature same motorcycle no changes only difference was the units..
And also made sure that they corrected Dynojet Wide Band 2 information on the hookup to the 06/07 ZX14.. They will be updating their instructions that's what was told to me.
Black and white wire has to be wired into the TP for LCD 200 screen to work correctly with the Dynojet Wide Band 2 throttle position .

got an 08 PC on my 07 zx14. oh yeah, also put in a ecm from a 08. didn't have to pull flies as the 08 opens the flies sooner. from what i've read a 08/09 PC is not able to address certain areas of the 06/07 ecm.
