14 DOWN, TOTALED, I COME OUT ALIVE, UNHURT, PICS

Hello to all, sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Hectic between work and my club. Well let's get to it, i was on my way to have my bike dyno tuned when I guy runs a stop light on me. I locked up the rear and lowsided the bike thus throwing into the van instead of myself. The bike is totaaled by insurance standards but I will repair her. a set of those Hong Kong plastics will more than likely make the bill. If anyone has anything that I can you please feel free to hit me up. I've been having a hard time getting my PM's on here so hit me directly at butta4hc@gmail.com

The frame, engine, swingarm, subframe are fine. Rotors took a beating but my new chrome rims are in tact. The frame sliders did their job. Bike starts up and runs fine. I will be back. One second sooner though and you guys would have been saying how he was such a good guy on here, lol.

Ouch! I'm very glad to hear you made out ok ! Be sure to chek the area by the frame slider carefully for cracks. There has been some 14's with damage from falling on the framesliders.

I'm ok. Landed on my right side so I have a contusion to my thigh. Basically deep bruising. Walked (well...limped) away from the accident. The back of my helmet smashed against his rear rim. Some people would put this helmet back on on because it still LOOKS good. By my standards it's an $800 investment to my brain that paid off. Stood up after laying there and assessing myself on the ground, group texted my club. They were there in three minutes. Then I went to taking pics. Went to have x-rays done. No broken bones. No road rash. I was on the back up GSXR 1000 the next day. Very fortunate. This winter should be interesting. I got the bike sitting at my mechanic awaiting word from me.

Go to eBay and type in zx14 body kit. It is a factory fairing set with gas tank for 899.00. I have seen it installed and it looks great. Glad you are ok man!

I have a pristine 08 OEM front fender that is yours for the price of packaging and shipping from 78613 if you want it. Same with an OEM windscreen.

Glad you are OK!
You might want to consider catalyst panels too if you have a good painter for cheap.
The 1 piece side panels are nice, the entire side comes off together including the grills , as all 3 pieces on each side are 1 piece.
