I got kicked out for going over 100mph on the 636 and My friends did too!! Irwindale has the worst staff ever on a track cus their dicks!! They even ask for a valid drivers license and if you go 6.39 or better you must have an NHRA Lic and even the cops in there sometimes ask you for your credentials!!

A buddy of mine crashed a couple weeks ago at the track in blue jeans. We were at a 1/8th mile track and he rides a ZX6R so he went through the traps @ 110 mph. His butt and legs looked like raw meat ! I always wear my full leathers and this was just a reminder why I should.
Yikes!  Over here in socal anything over 100mph requires full leathers. I am always in full leather at the track .
Hrm... barona 1/8th mile drag strip is an nhra sanctioned track and they don't say anything about running in jeans unless you are faster than 6.40. Once you start going fast you have to wear leathers and get an NHRA license.

I know is still off topic but where can i get some info about barona? I would like to make it one day there I got everything full leathers and NHRA Lic, Thanks.

I've never had to get a nhra lic... I'm wandering if it wouldn't be a bad idea in case I ever go to one of these tracks.

That's one of the things I hate about irwindale , they don't run the place the way they should. They skip running the bikes on a regular basis too which is what I hate the most !
I wouldn't even go to the place , but the fact that its only like 20 miles away and its a year round weekly event keeps me coming back.
I wish Fontana or Pomona would do weekly stuff!

lol, you know you chuckled when you saw that. I had to stir the pot a little too. Looking to make it up there sometime in the next few months to do a little 1/4 mile racing. When i do i'll be sure to look you up so that i can have someone to hang out with at the track.
