Does Wheelie look like Smokin?

Smokin, dont you have a photo that looks kinda like this? it reminded me of you. sorry to let you down tnt and zx14.com, I broke my golden rule today, never race the other guy, race yourself! I had a good lead in the 9.0 class with a guy I never saw, I looked over at him a little over half track and had a few bikes on him, so I let off just a little and got back in the gas, well he sprayed my and passed me. I hate losing.

I'm sitting off the coast of san diego in cell range so I had the chance to talk to dad earlier. From the sounds of it he cleaned house pretty good in arkansas today only being beaten by 2 bikes, one of which he went 1 and 1 with. The fastest bike there beat him by 2 tenths and was a full catalyst bodyworked velocity turbo busa.

He did say that he wasn't riding too great today and still managed to run 5.8's in the 1/8th and 7.6's in the 1000ft at something like 144-145 mph.

A buddy of mine crashed a couple weeks ago at the track in blue jeans. We were at a 1/8th mile track and he rides a ZX6R so he went through the traps @ 110 mph. His butt and legs looked like raw meat ! I always wear my full leathers and this was just a reminder why I should.

I second the jeans thing. When I went down on the track the leathers saved my hip. Oh and I have never seen spurs in motorcycle boots. Lol

Yikes! Over here in socal anything over 100mph requires full leathers. I am always in full leather at the track .

Oh yes they are ! The 1st time he ran over 100 they told him to where his full leathers the next time he comes or he won't be allowed to run. But if you stay under 100 you're alright .. But that just sucks lol!

Motorcycles must be equipped with a chain guard. Riders must wear a leather jacket, gloves and leather shoes that cover the ankles.

The guy with the white 14 can break 1/8 100 heard he is getting sponsorship

And if you run over 100 the officials will speak with you and tell you not to go over 100mph untill you get full leather. Its happend to many many riders regardless of what any one else tells you.
