quote: Don't get me wrong I enjoy looking at the " custom fat tire bling bling bikes" but wouldn't want or ride one.
Depends how wide u go, i ride my 240 6" over all the time on the highway, backroads, n even down to the track on occasion, I wheelie the bike 1rst n 2nd but to scared to go 12 oclock wit it, lol. Now I am not a knee dragger but I can take a pic of the chicken strips on my back tire if u want, lol, i still get it in!!!!!!!!! I bought this bike stock n road for 16 weeks waitin on my tire kit n I ride it the exact same. ONLY downfall in my opinion is the air ride can get bouncy if i dont have it set right, kinda sways on bumpy corners, but i rode it long enough to know what feels right. As far as u wanting or riding one, pull up to a bike event n see me in the top 3 at a custom show, see me on the road riding hard wit everyone else, (n no i'm not in the back, lol), then see me at the track racing, All I can say is the best of all worlds, lol

The big question...who is that guy in my avatar??
Personally - I still think that the avatar has a striking resemblence..... winters coming mate....are you doing one last gig at Maxton?

It's looking doubtful. The bike is in dragstrip mode and I am .005 away from the 8's.
I won't know for sure until the very last minute, though.

.005 - DAM!
Ok - let's review every last trick in the book.
Front tire pressure to 45 or 50.
Rear Tire pressure as high as it can be and still bite.
Duck tape all joints on bike.
Duck tape all joints on you - where boots meet pants - gloves to sleeves.
Oil chain between every run with Dupont teflon - all 20 minutes to dry prior to making pass.
chain on the slack side of acceptable.
tuck tighter - raise you butt off the seat about an inch on top end - tuck tighter.....head down, arms in, hands in as far as they can safely go, knees in toes in....
Bump your shifht light up if you have enough headroon to still miss the rev limiter.
If leaving on two step - bump it a few hundred RPM if you can take a harder launch and keep the bite and two wheels.
Run on empty..... completely drain tank - pure fresh MR9 snd just enough for each pass..
I am assuming the air cleaner is not in there - how about that net in front of the ram air... mine left along time ago
Can you get it any lower...... maybe another 1/2" - it is only .oo5.
That is all that I have - well pull your o2 sensor if you have one - use regular mid pipe if you have on instead of the one for the sensor fitting.
Try dumping the baffle and get rid of you data acqusition unit if that is on board - get rid of any other weigh that is not needed.......
If you go to Maxton - Rockingham is also close - and it is a fast track..... Now I think I am done. Good luck Shane with either pursuit.

BTW - This is why rocket jockeys are not allowed to have Harleys.....This wouldn't even look good to a blind man riding a fast horse..... IMHO

Plenty of little tricks left to get me there, some of which are on your list. The main thing is the tune...where I launch the bike it is very fat. I need to get that squared away, and then I think it is in for sure.
