Stock exhaust weighs 40 lbs the turbo weighs 43 lbs. I'm sure the NOS reduces your weight quite a bit which in turn improves reliability. Turbo death will bite you if you make one boo boo. I have 25,500 miles on the turbo and 35,000 miles total. Just added a 7# spring and remapped. Made 250.3 hp and torque lined out at 5,000 rpms at 138 ft. lbs. It is a costly system around $6K.. Have to try the Shinko slick and readjust gears and swing arm length. Sure it will make the 8's now but listen to Smokin when it come to common sense.

Turbo weight varies, this is for Turbonetics T-3/4. There is a video on You Tube search for ZX14win. and it will pop up.

If you mean 6psi on pump and 10psi on c16 then it should be easy.
I've sprayed wet and dry , on stock and built motors, over the years.
Just like nitrous big hp requires big investments.
Cost wise it's not much difference for a built motor and spray vs a stage 1 turbo on stock motor. Big motors don't usually do well for street rides and need more rebuilds, where a low boost turbo can go anywhere and last longer between builds.
I got bit when I turned the turbo up on pump gas, but I also got bit with nitrous .
Stage 1 @ 6psi should be around 240-250 hp. What Hp would you target with your build?
