I have a 6" tail for sale, if you are looking. When I installed it, there was no info on bracing it. I called them and told them it flexed. I only used it for one day, it has a small crack in the seat pan from flexing.

Hey guys. Just getting a chance to log in, sorry.

I went with the 12" tail because I wanted to lower more bike more, and with the 6" tail, the tail light was directly over the rear wheel, so that was limiting how much I could lower the bike.

With the 12" tail, the back tire completely clears the tail light. Even if I were to go to 70", which I plan on doing one day, the tire will still clear the tail light.

I know some don't like the looks of the 12" tail, and personally, at first, I didn't either because all I had ever seen it on was a few bikes that weren't set up right. The subframes were way too high, and they looked like crap. But one day I saw one that was set up right and it caught my attention, so I decided to get one for mine, and I don't regret it.

As far as this bracket yall are talking about, I am clueless about it. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to get one? My seat is just mounted at the normal points, using rubber gromets to help absorb the force of the launch on the bolts. I have a few flex cracks, but never knew anything about a bracket.

Heres a pic on smugmug from last weeks bike night...

I called cc, the bracket helps keep the seat from moving and causing damage to the mounting holes on the fiberglass
