Well some people can't ride but you can't blame the bikes because we all know what they can run with a skilled rider .. I'm glad i didn't see it because i would have been yelling at the TV ..

9.50 with an exceptional rider... 9.80 with you're just slightly better than average drag racer. Where was the track? that could have had a lot to do with the busas times as well... Everyone is so used to their fast times with good air, but I've seen the difference in running at sea level and running at altitude. how does 3-4 tenths and 5 mph sound? lol. Friday night at Qualcomm Race Legal i went 1.62-6.40 117 showroom stock. Saturday night at Barona dragstrip with a 4000ft DA I went 1.65-6.70-6.80 @ 110-112 mph. Given, I was bone stock flies sill in, everything... but that's a big difference in 1/8th and MPH time with similar 60 fts. You know somethings up when brocks piped, stretched, geared busas and 14's pulling low 1.4's are running in the 6.0-6.teens at 115-118 mph.

I thought it was atlanta so times should be pretty good and it does not take an exception rider to go 9.50s on a stretched busa if you saw it, the bike bogged bad on the launch. My buddy went 9.59 on his stock wheelbase 05 with just pipe and power commander foot shifting on pump gas and he was not that great of rider yet at that time his 60 fts where in the 1.60's and that was in the heat of the summer. when I first started drag racin a bike I had an 02 stock wheelbase Brock piped Busa and was 200 lbs and ran 9.70's and My 60 fts where 1.60's as well. we are usally between 2500 and 2800 ft here and in oct. can see in the 1800 ft range.
