09' Paint........need to buy

My 09 is candy green and I want to paint my catalyst seat the same color. What are the odds of actually finding an exact match? Or, should I not waste my time. Who sells it also.

Why not use some sub-$3 Krylon like I do?? Works great on fairings too!

Color-Rite should sell it, although I've heard that their paint is not the best.

Well, thats a thought Shane. The lower fairnings are flat black on my back and that was my second option.

I think the cheapest way out may be to buy the candylime green spray can(33.95),spray it yourself,But let a local paint shop shoot the coat of clear on it for may be $30.oo . Or can have it all sanded & prepped, take a chance & let a shop mix the paint & spray.. I didn't like the color rite spray Clear on lite colors as white. the spray can clear had a "yellowish tint" over the white. Just my 2cents

Well at least Color Rite has a user friendly website. I think House of Kolors website is horrible and so is PPG. I cant find any of the Candy Lime Green color. Color Rite has no part number listed.

Color rite:http://www.colorrite.com/matrix-colors.cfm?CFID=1517208&CFTOKEN=34238159

Found this color requires a base coat first
Candy Lime Green Base coat=1225 SKU # : 1225 $33.95 aerosol spray can
Candy Lime Green color rite Top=3225 SKU # : 3225 $33.95 aerosol spray can

Then get it Cleared

+1,14nooby-I would stay away from color rite, I've bought both the candy thunder blue and the stotic black and they both were off! I'm a very detailed person and I still have to address this on 2 minor scratches on my bike. Basically I wasted $100, I will give the pieces to a painter for repair, Just my 2 cents.....

What I've seen is color rite sometime matches and sometimes don't a color like the lime green maybe hard to match really good becasue it has a base coat and top coat so if the colors are not the right amount of coats it won't match.
