here is a copy of the dyno done yesterday. the bike only has brocks alienhead, no pc, and flies in. i knew the a/f ratio was going the be off, but before i put pc on, i was curious as to what the bike was doing.

I only got to run the one day that I posted the video. Had to many variables to consider to say whether it helped or not. I still have the links in my trailor, and haven't put them on yet bc I didn't want to make the chain too long if I decided to go back down. What do you guys think ab the a/f??

Lol NOT on that dyno that I was on. I don't know if its standard procedure, but he said it could be off up to 5hp, and he said take away at least 5-7hp for the "corrected"hp.

I think you need to go to the track again, run pump fuel, as much air in the rear tire as possible without wheel spin, get a pc and run the Brockland.com map, extend your chain, remove the secondaries, remove the airfilter and report back your mph.

I forgot to add that was on 93 pump gas with air filter in. I will do all the above except the pc, as I'm having to get roof leak fixed and the ac fixed, and they were not in my budget.. So the pc got put on backburner. I will be back at the track in 2weeks
But isn't the a/f pretty close?

I noticed that. He didn't put my info in the comp, so it stayed as the previous person. I saw the R1's graph and it was totally different.

not what i m sayin, i m just sayin he didnt say some really big numbers like i noticed on some of the so called 12s numbers. I have seen a 07 1000 put out 168 wit a brocks pipe n pc, but i have read piped 12 in the 170's - 180s. Thats what i would guess a 14 piped would do, not a 2000 zx12, i could b wrong but this is just what i've seen on the forum, i would hope a 14 would be in 170's wit a pipe n pc, wish i had one, lol. Why do they call a 1400 a 14 that is 1342 n a 1300 a 13 when its a 1340? why didnt they just call it a zx13, lol.

Steven's R1 is weak at 160 rwhp.
My gf's modded 09 R1 laid down upward of 170 on pump gas.
Steven is showing his buddies his 06 180 rwhp R1 dyno chart now!

my 12 showed 161 wit a pipe n pc, #3piston had little blow bye n smoked up his place from what he said. Bone stock was 152, now I'm at 157, lmao.....then again thats not funny! I'm sure a piped up 14 wit stock ecu is 170ish, the mph on some of the guys in the 1/4 is showing better hp than that if u use the calculator. Has anyone seen Karey mcgee run her 14 in the 8.30 index at 169mph,

So the difference is in the torque?
If u built a 1340 12 motor its hp would be quite a bit more than that of the 14 right? or is that a stroker n just put out alot more torque

The 14 is has a much broader powerband than the 12.
Regarding a 1340, it depends on how you built the motor, but generally "yes". The 12 has a better cylinder head and more agressive cams than the 14.
Of course, you can always take the 14 to a relatively mild 1534 setup, which will likely clobber a 1340.

Eklipse, that is actually very close to what my bike originally ran on Johnny's dyno. Bone stock at about 95 degrees it showed 161 hp and 99 ft/lbs torque.
