Brocks Short Meg Slip-ons

I have not even had these on for a month and I have gotten more compliments on the bike in this short period then I did for the the entire year prior. Half the people are in awe of how nice it looks and the other are in awe of the sound.

As for how loud they are, I LOVE IT!! It has grown on me and would not change a thing. I especially like it when someone starts riding too close at night and I give them the 3500rpm flame thrower.

The only problem I have is that if I let the kick stand snap up it will just bump the exhaust putting a small dent in it. I bet this would not happen with the Alienhead.

Rich, any plans to lower the bike? If so, you will likely need a shorter kickstand, which probably won't rub.

Maybe you can trim the stand a little?

Just an idea...

I just want to run in the 9's. If I can do that without lowering it great but with my weight I am sure that is not going to happen especially with no skills I can just take it off and sand the corner but now that the dent is in it it does not hit anymore. This was more just trying to help someone before the dent happens.

BTW, who do you recommend for the shorter stand if needed?

I have one from Spencer Cycles, but a shortened and rewelded stock one will work. The biggest issue I have with mine is that it is a little harder than stock to find with your boot.

I have the same Spencer Cycles stand- much lighter than stock
and works better with the forward handle Pitt Bull stand:

They were just over $800. I went that route over the full system because some deushe bags tipped my big over and messed up the right side pretty bad. The stock canister needed to be replaced and it was $800 so I basically got these put on for free. I did not want to spend the extra money for a PC and I love the dual looks. Unfortunately I ended up getting a PC for $125 off the classifieds a couple weeks later so now I do wish I would have gotten the full system but what can you do.

I will get some video of it tonight. I personally have never put a video on youtube but my business partner has. If I get the time I will get it done for you. All I can say it is is friggin loud and the sound resembles that of my wife screaming my name as I am giving her more pleasure then any women has ever felt since the dawn of time.
