flys out

just instal a KN air filter and remove flys on my 09 this afternoon. the difference on my 09 is not as large as my 06 but stil a large difference with no side effect same idle same cold starting i think it is a must for all 14.

hmm i was thinking about removing them in my 08 but they say you really dont need to. did you feel the difference because the filter helps alot too i just installed a kn filter and it helped big time

i dont think the filter alone can make as much a difference? .anyway wen you already are at the filter it take about half an hours more to get the flies out.all you need is a VERY GOUD SCREWDRIVER i do it on my 06 and 09 with no problems.and this is a free upgrade.

Does your bike still idle up automatically and back down to normal idle during cold starts, after you removed the flys?

Removing the flies doesn't affect the idle .
