sorry but I was told it wont work- even though they sell the M14 with the quote 'M10 canister' muffler as the default muffler for it. The opening is bigger on the M14 version I believe.

Correct. There are 2 M10 megs. One for the M14 headers and the other the M10 old style headers.
I have the M14(Shanes old system) and have been told there is only about 2 HP gain with proper map from my oval silencer. M14 headers are tapered and have O2 port for data Log etc.

Muzzy, best street header for the Z14 on the market. Back at you Shane :-)

the facts as they stand

Here's the word from muzzys. Yes you can get the m10 meg for standard or m14 system. You can have it in two options as well. It is available in polished stainless or in ceramic black for both systems. Th part numbers for a standard system in polished stainless is 1014-00328. Black ceramic is 1014-00287. The kits for the m14 pipes are 1014-00309 poilished. The black ceramic m14 kit is 1014-00291. The head pipes on both systems are the same no matter which can it was built with originally.
