From all the praising of Brocks that goes on here I would think maybe a BJ or reach around or something. As you can read or at least retain, Im not complaining just posting a fact. BROCKS map causes a skip, three other brands do not. Let me repeat for you. Im not complaining just posting a fact. BROCKS map causes a skip, three other brands do not!! Personally I could care less either way, Im not some bike racing fool that thinks everything in life revolves around bikes or racing. I still run BROCKS maps as well as MUZZYS maps and enjoy them, but that doesnt change the fact that BROCKS maps skip. As far as Brocks goes I think he has some good products and a good business but Im not lining up to kiss his ass either, the lines too long.

So, when you say Brock's maps "skip"...do you mean like, make your heart skip a beat because they are so awesome? I'm sure you have heard how great they are.

Since almost everyone else seems to have great success with these maps, why do you think you are having troubles? Is everyone else crazy? Are they pretending that their bikes run great? Or is it more likely that it is your bike, installation, or climate causing the issue? I mean seriously...think about it.

Anyway, good luck with your collection of maps.

Shane

my bike runs spot on 11,700 miles on brocks maps. mostly street riding, a couple trips to the track and never a problem. i use the race map mostly, but run the maxton, and street flies out maps as well. no problems with any of them. i have a power commander lcd and i switch them around to compare them often. never a glitch, skip, or anything, just arm straightening performance and stellar customer service. if you bike is skipping its got the problem.

Climate/elevation and other factors were mentioned and was told that their map was neutral enough to take this into consideration and wouldnt be the problem. I asked if I should run a leaner map? No the one you have should work fine. I offered to send the current map to them to check if something was amiss and was told by the tech department that it wasnt necessary that it wasnt the map. When I mentioned that I had ran others to trouble shoot the issue and that I had no issues with them, the guy said that I needed to run their map that the brocks map wasnt the issue.

From all the hoopla that I had heard from brocks customer service I expected a little more help. Not being a prick about it, I let it go and chalked it up to who ever I talked to as having a bad day and not wanting to be very helpful. But after spending the $$ I did on an exhaust I would have expected more help. Now the miss/skip that I refer to isnt a real issue and could really care less as it mostly does this at lower rpms which would be more of a rich condition to me, but I was just expecting more help from brocks. Now if I was a real pain in the ass I would have insisted on talking to Brock himself, but again it wasnt that big of an issue to interupt a busy man, other than to tell him your one employee that I spoke with on that particular day sucked!!

i know for a fact that if you send an e-mail to brock you will get an answer. everyone who works there should be as responsive, but who knows you might have caught someone at a bad moment. they are human but really if you have an issue brock will work it out, i would bet on it.

Dude, 69 you really should stop. On this forum saying anything bad or off or remotely in the range of not godlike about brocks will bring a fucking lynching. I mean hell you could say you were an atheist in a room full of catholic hard liners and get away with that easier. But gawd knows if you hate muzzy's you can talk all damn day long about that though, hmmmmmm. Thought that was what a open forum like this was for, goods, bads, expertise, so on, so forth. And Shane no offense, you are very knowledgeable and at the lead of drag racing and money spent on a 14. But you have a real shitty way of telling someone to basically go fuck yourself with your collection of maps. How dare you rag on Mr Brock. I mean serioulsy were you there when he had his conversation with Brocks? Or for that matter where any of you there when he or I had our conversations? I mean hell, even god made some mistakes

Umm, isn't this like post 55 of 58 about Brock's for you? I thought you said you were done like 5 posts ago?

Could someone have a bad experience with Brock's? Absolutely...it can happen. Will Brock go out of his way to try and resolve the situation? Yes. Do I believe that the cause of Reward's issue is that Brock's maps are bad? No. Just as he is entitled to his opinion, so am I.

And for the record, I'm not telling anyone to go f**k themselves. If they choose to do so, that is on them. Also, for the record, I am not even close to the "most money spent on a 14"!!

I just wanted to post MY GOOD SERVICE I recieved from brocks, I was gonna go with a Muzzy pipe but I liked the shape of the Alien head. I knew either way I would get great map support.

Oh and this hiccup thing at low RPM'S about 2500 to 3000 sometimes my bike dose it to.

Brock's SMEG holds two World and Three AMA Landspeed records at Bonneville. I wouldn't go anywhere without one on my bike. Yes, I like his products too.

Personally I am a Brock hater. I cant stand those guys.
While shopping around for my exhaust for my 08 Zx I happened upon Brock performance. I emailed them with some technical questions. Apparently they were out racing at some big event and couldnt be trouble to get back to me, took them no more than four hours to respond. Four hours can you believe that shit!!!!!

Totally disgruntled with with their response time I continued to email back and forth over the next few day. Finally I felt obligated to purchase a SMEG and PCIII from them. That had the audacity to charge me LESS than I expected!!! WTF seriously!!!! Getting rather fed up by now at this lack up customer service they even threw a noise reduction plug in a a reduced cost!!!!

Another nail in the coffin in poor customer service occured when my shipment arrived sooner than I expected!!! How could this be arriving when I am not ready for it!!! And it arrived double boxed and wrapped so securely how could it possbily be damaged in shipment - thereby not giving me anything to bitch about!!!!

The final straw to solidify my hatred of Brocks came when the exhaust install went so smoothly and without a hitch. Plus those guys didnt even send me a calandar!!!!!!

Hate em!!

Cheers
Kinley

*Events did occur as stated. Sarcasm is added. I am a Brockstool and I am ok with that!!!!

I don't even use brock's equipment , but the valuable info he provide's is amazing, should I change the current configuration of my 14 , will consider his part's first !
how could you hate a guy that allready gave so much , who else shredded their zx to figure out what work's best !
somewhere before the shit started , I think some newbe , wanted to know about how loud slipons were , common sense , larger internal dia, more noise, single can more noise fore same flow as 2 can's.
muffler's that burn out quik can use restruant dish, pan cleaning brillow pad's, thick stainless steel mesh, perfect for the first rap or two, then use the common packing to finish.
they last longer!
