The funny thing is...you have 51 posts...and I think 49 of them are devoted to your thoughts on Brock's. Hmmm.....

Do you have anything else to contribute??

Actually I do, but after searching for over 6 months on which exhaust to buy and reading so many posts on here about how brock was god and muzzy's sucked complete ass, I made my choice. So after the dealings with brocks and the dealings with muzzys I damn sure am going to post about how they are not the best and not even close to it. If I can save someone else from the hell I had to go through with brocks and their "shitty" customer service, then yes I am contributing. I tend to forget that you are not allowed to say anything bad about brocks on this board, This is my last post on Brocks seeing that I must have been the one and only person on this planet who had bad dealings with them. Thanks for your overwhelming understanding on this subject and my postings. Maybe if I had bought a there exhaust, and a set of BST's from them, they would have jumped through the hoops a little better. Later

That's pretty funny. You forget that I did have a Muzzy's pipe, which worked well for me. It was just a heavy exhaust. When I bought the exhaust from Brock's I had not yet purchased the BST rims. The products have served me well, and I continue to get great customer support.

Sorry things didn't work out well for you, Btw, if I recall, you ordered both the Muzzy and the Brock's together (with the intent of returning the one you didn't like), so I guess you had not quite "made your choice" after your 6 months of research.

Looking Forward To Your Non-"Brockcentric" Postings,

Shane

With my family owning a retail store for 13 years, I have to speak up. Its fucking douchebags like YOU that make it IMPOSSIBLE to make happy. I've had a few customers in my day that were like you. Your right, I'm sure they finally gave up on you after they found out how much of a pain in the ASS you are. With the attitude you have, I would be nowhere near as polite as they were and ask you please to NOT shop with us. One flamer/poser/whatever you call yourself won't hurt their business because customer service speaks for itself!

Well though not really an issue to some degree but I had a small issue with the maps supplied with the SMEG. The bike would occassionly have what seemed to be an ignition miss. This would vary at rpm levels and wasnt consistent and didnt happen too frequently. After reading on the board I re grounded the PCIII, reloaded the map (several times) and still would experience the same issue. I called brocks (spoke to a service tech) was told it wasnt the map and to reground the PCIII which was already done, and was sent a new map via email (same issue). I then installed maps from muzzy, yoshimura and never had issue with either maps. Went back to brocks maps and issue returned. Contacted customer service and again was told that it must be something with the PCIII or something other than the map. I explained that I had ran other maps with no issues and still was basically told that it wasnt the map. Not being a pisser and moaner I just said okee dokee and have been running muzzys maps with not an issue since. Though I have never spoken to Brock personally (I do commend what he's accomplished) about the issue I wouldnt personally praise his employees and the tech department for customer service.

Let's be realistic here. Thousands of other people (including me) are using these maps without issue. So, which is more likely: Something odd with your bike or installation...or a bad map??

No offense, but I don't know what you expect from a vendor at this point. A new map written just for you?

Shane

From all the praising of Brocks that goes on here I would think maybe a BJ or reach around or something. As you can read or at least retain, Im not complaining just posting a fact. BROCKS map causes a skip, three other brands do not. Let me repeat for you. Im not complaining just posting a fact. BROCKS map causes a skip, three other brands do not!! Personally I could care less either way, Im not some bike racing fool that thinks everything in life revolves around bikes or racing. I still run BROCKS maps as well as MUZZYS maps and enjoy them, but that doesnt change the fact that BROCKS maps skip. As far as Brocks goes I think he has some good products and a good business but Im not lining up to kiss his ass either, the lines too long.
