warped Rotors Kawasaki's response to my warrenty

so this is my second set of rotors I have had to replace on my 14 both after a full brake applications and wow the bike is shuddering from the front wheel. Here is what kawi said .

Yes we seen problem whit zx14 rotor but the problem is the brake pad are very good , they are made whit metallic composite so sometime if the bike stay in the rain or the customer wash it and the bike sit for a few day whit water in between, we seen metal transfer on the rotor. Sometime a few hard braking will solve the problem but if the rotor is warp this is not a warrantable issue, they don't warp for nothing something cause the rotor to warp and most of the time it came from a impact.

best regards

I've heard of a few people having brake issues, but I have 11.5k on mine and they have been perfect.

First was drag racing i hammered on the front brakes and after my bike was shaking bad when i used ther front brakes This time i was in traffic some cars slammed into each other in front of me so i had to hammer on the brakes again and head to the median to avoid them and right after thatsame thing shaking on brake application .

There are always a few, doesn't matter what kind of bike or car, that will have brake problems. On cars I blame the driver and their driving style. On bikes it always seems to happen after a very hard braking. Look at it this way, the brakes saved your life. New rotors are a small price to pay.

He is either French, or French Canadian, and not a native English speaker. No surprise that it looks 'bad'. It's much better than my French would be.

Rotors should NOT warp after ONE hard brake application. In fact, they shouldn't warp after MANY hard brake applications. Brake fade: yes. Warping: nuh uh.

As the Kawi rep said, something caused them to warp, usually an impact. If hard-braking were a 'usual' cause he would have said so. He didn't, and I know why he didn't - doing so would admit to poor design and almost guarantee a recall.
