06-07 vs 08-09 Fuel pumps
I changed the Fuel pump in my 07 gas tank to one of the new 09 pumps that don't have the sump on them. looking at them side by side they are two different pumps. It runs fine but had some really rich areas in the map it didn't have before the 09 pump. Anyone else experience this or have made the swap?

the pump in the 08-09 is a lot smaller in size. flow should be controlled by the intake regulator. I don't know of 08-09 bikes running at higher pressures.

b.w.
zx14, little longer, little louder, little lower.
08 Busa, just a little longer and louder and lower than the 14

Don't they have higher flow rate injectors on the 08-09? regulator is in the pump housing.

My 07 runs great with an 08 pump, but I didn't dyno it before. The only very rich areas in the map were in the low rpm (under 5k rpm, if I recall), which I think is normal for a Brock's race map?
But it runs great at the track...
