I have one. At first it doesn't seem to make much difference, but once it settles into a regular idle, you can certainly tell. The Biggest difference to me is during any longer rides. That smeg just starts working my eardrums. With the NRP in, the exhaust note is a lot less traumatic to the ears, and kind of sounds like a P51 Mustang strafing by. Be careful, however, they fall out fairly easily. I've lost two already. I now keep the appropriate hex wrench in my pocket and check it almost everytime before I leave.

+1, I've lost 1 already.... Make sure you keep a Hex wrench and torquue it frequent.... Worth the money if you don't keep losing it.

Guys, there is a revised version of the plug available from Brock's now. It clamps on the
outside of the baffle instead of using the set screws inside the baffle. I have one in my AH
and have had no problems with it. Plus it looks cooler too. Later...

Well crap. Maybe I misunderstood, Icarus, but I could have sworn the last time mine fell off I talked to the Brock's guys and asked if there was a newer one that fit better and they said there was but it didn't work with the smeg. I'm trying to keep this one on for awhile unless I'm at the drag strip, but I may look into the newer one in the near future.

I've got a new one that I've never installed if you want to make a deal - still in the original shrink wrap. Let me know if interested

Smokey, is the plug you have black anodize? The new one I have is a plain aluminum
finish. I got mine early this summer. May try to call again on Monday to see if they have
any new info for you. Later...

+1 any rider should be wearing earplugs anyway. The wind noise alone, especially higher speeds, will damage your hearing,
