Will do you mean a programable shift light , or just a LED light ?
I heard that with just a LED you pull the dash apart and tap into the shift light then use a relay to power a more powerful light ! Because of the CAN single wire system.
If you go the other way , I have a Raptor shift / launch blue LED's that I like, let me know and I'll post up wiring details.
Goodluck

If you are tapping into the dash led , I've heard that you do.Because it draws more power than the OEM desh LED.
If you can afford it ,instead of tampering with the dash seal, I would purchase a shift/launch light. Raptor and MSD are good.I love my Raptor ,bright as even in daylight!

Haven't done it myself , but if you check what secification the stock dash shift light is in the manual ,get a relay that has a coil that matches that feed.
Goodluck!!!
