I've been using Rotella for several years. A few oil analysis on your oil will help quell any myths or half-truths out there. It's inexpensive to do and great piece of mind.

Spending the extra money on amsoil or any other so-called superoil is just pissing yer money down the drain.

BTW...not cool to come into a thread to pitch yer amway...oops, amsoil forsale. Pretty sure it says right at the top nothing for sale in this forum. .02

My intension's are to only help. You have any problem with us giving oil away to members on this forum. Increasing performance is the name of the game. I've made no sales on the site. You really are encouraging. Thanks

I don't think he was wrong for posting ab the amsoil, bc by what I understand, it is good oil, just not what I need.
Thanks 636. I understand your point. It is valid. Will be looking forward to hearing from you.

But lets be honest have you ever had a bike that clunks that bad going into first. I put mine in first before i start it.

Every since I've switched to Rotella 5w-40, my bike does not make that "clunk sound", just a click. I was reserved at first from using Rotella(maybe because it was cheaper and I wanted to preserve the life span of the engine) but after hearing to endorsements hear and trying, I have not switched to any other brand.
I get it from Walmart @ $20 per gallon

Since I change my oil every 75-150 miles, where is the synthetic benefit for me???

Will the bike really run cooler, or make more power, over a 1/4 - 1.5 mile run??

I have my doubts...

You got to be kidding. No affiliation with Amway Mr. Compton. You seen my email above. Email your address and your bikeland name. Not always free oil but hats or something also once a month. You will also see our advertisement soon as we can get me home next day or 2. Thanks

Good question Shane. On synthetic I'm trying to find an interval (how much milage, with how many runs with time at the track)

My bikes all Harley's in the past, when I did my skeptisim test with a temp gun around town and the drag strip have run cooler by at least 15* in all operating conditions. I'm inconclusive with the 14 because I put the Muzzy Fan, Eng. Ice, & Amsoil 10w40 synthetic at the same time. But it lowered by 1 bar on the temp. with all that.

It has been proved that synthetic oil does cool better than conventional. Best cold flow tech., Best viscosity retention in extreme heat conditions for longer periods of time. Synthetic for performance, I believe less centrifical mass. I can keep going so email my shop for a motorcycle white paper if you would. It's free. It will tell about all the test and which oils add up. Thanks

My zx14 got syn oil before 100 miles .. Seems to work fine with no problems ...

James sent me some Amsoil to try ( for free )... He sent some 10w30 which is in the bike now and seems to be working fine .. I can't tell you if it runs cooler because i don't ride on the street .. James also sent me some lighter Amsoil ( racing oil ) that i have not tried yet ..When it comes time to change the oil i will dyno it before and after and see if it makes a difference in HP..

I have seen changes from running dead dino oil to full syn oil .... I don't know if you will see or feel any gains from one brand of Syn oil to Syn oil , but i guess it is possible ... We will see when i do the dyno test ..
