rotella synthetic

I'm getting close to 1000 miles on the 14 and I feel a lot better with running syn oil on the clutches bc I haven't burnt one up running it. But anyhow, I was going to put it in the f250 and my fiences camry (both are near 100,000 miles) and didn't know if someone had the hookup on it. I was going to buy 4 or 5 gallons, so I figured it would be worth asking. I've been buying it at wally world, wanted to make sure there wasn't a better deal... Thanks guys!

That's what I figured, but when buying that much oil its worth a ask. Trying to save every penny I can!

Amsoil works best. 25000 mile oil change intervals with a waranty in vehicles. Did you see Smokins clutch grab results in the what oil to use thread? It will be interesting to see his final results in the future. We are giving the best pricing we can possibly give to bikeland members. You will be surprised for what we can get it to you door for. Give us a call for bikeland members pricing. 18669844664. Or email tjsynthetics@bellsouth.net

i used amsoil before for a long time ..i quit because 10 .00 to 14.00 is way to much to pay for a quart of oil .. and i'm not leaving no oil in my motor for 25000 miles ..well maybe if i rode it by the factory specs on how to ride your bike and shift gears in the service manual ..

i agree, If you use your bike as a tourer then 2500 miles is great.
If you drag race, oil won't make it 1000 miles.

he said 25 ,000 miles not 2500 miles .. but yeah as a streetbike i went 6000 miles on the Amsoil with a filter replacement at 3000 k miles .. but on a race bike i agree with you 30 to 50 of my passes and i'm changing .. i'm not super racer just an average racer MAYBE ..

Our price for Amsoil is a lot cheaper than that. 25,000 mile intervals or yearly oil changes are for normal service daily driven vehicles not for motor cycles. Sever service intervals would be 15,000 miles for automobiles. I have a 2000 Nissan Frontier with 11 oil changes. 130,000 miles, changing oil once a year. Motor Cycle oil would be the normal service interval. Sorry for the mix up.

O its all good, but I don't think I can really go 25,000 miles without changing the oil in my car/truck.. Just don't feel right. And as for the bike, I change the oil every 3 to 4 times at the track, and I don't think its worth the money (in my bike) I will give you a call the first of the week ab the amsoil.
All I know is I burnt a clutch up using kawi oil (non synthetic) and since I've used rotella and got hundreds of passes on it, and no clutch problems. That's the only reason I specifically say rotella synthetic.

I've been using Rotella for several years. A few oil analysis on your oil will help quell any myths or half-truths out there. It's inexpensive to do and great piece of mind.

Spending the extra money on amsoil or any other so-called superoil is just pissing yer money down the drain.

BTW...not cool to come into a thread to pitch yer amway...oops, amsoil forsale. Pretty sure it says right at the top nothing for sale in this forum. .02

I don't think he was wrong for posting ab the amsoil, bc by what I understand, it is good oil, just not what I need.

I'm not doubting it shifting better, but you hear that from EVERYONE when they change oil, I think a lot of it is a mental thing.

Nope not mental, i personally think the 14 has the worst shifting transmission of any bike I have owned and it shifts much smoother now not great by any means but better. i was running Suzuki synthetic before the change.

Well I have had 32 but all pretty modren, I suppose some old school bikes might shift worse. And how the 14 shifts really don't bother me because I know it's a well built tranny. But lets be honest have you ever had a bike that clunks that bad going into first. I put mine in first before i start it.
