Have you tried adding more weight to the cycle logic?

I guess you could have new petals with more leverage made for the cycle logic....just an option.

How much are you putting? It will need at least 3 washers each arm for that horsepower.

That doesn't make sense. Are you sure there is not another issue? We have an MTC that holds well over 300 hp with only 3 arms with minimal weight (busa).

I forget, maybe the mtc has a different pressure plate as well..

the bolts that come with the cycle logic are to short we put longer and heaver bolts and nuts and a washer on both sides for the dyno but had to take the washers out at the track or it would bog it out the hole
and the mtc multi comes with a new plate and the 2 atage you have to send them yours and they put hat pins in them
the mtc looks a lot larger and longer fingers than the cycle logic its more in the center
i belive thats why they have to cut your cover and mod, instead of just a spacer plate
and with the mtc i should be able to load it up with wieght if needed and go with softer springs to get out the hole i think

thanks

MTC 5-stage lockup. Put over 300+ hp too it, and the clutch plates not only held, but still looked new. I got the second one they ever made for the ZX14...or maybe it was the first one, but it was overbuilt, and worked great.
IMHO, all other lockup clutches are copies of the MTC, and not nearly of the same quality. You can save a few $$ of the others, but you'll spend it back in clutch plates. There's a reason some of these things are expensive.....and your starting to find out why.

If you are riding on the street go with the MTC single stage. It is at least tuneable for what you need. The CL would need machine work by shortening the arms where they contact the clutch hat and the back mount points. Not worth the effort.

And your point is??

Everybody I know, that races, or has high horsepower, uses the MTC, there just isn't any thing else out there that can touch it.

Like I said, everbody copies the MTC. If you can't afford an MTC, then certainly, get something else.

MTC has softer than stock springs. The Super Soft actually measure out the same as zx11 stock springs. They also have the shims in .010 .020 .050 for that lockup also.

Iflyems, I do believe that everyone has copied the MRE design. http://www.murdochracing.com/about.htm

MRE or MTC . . . . there both great lock ups (IMHO)

Personally, I went with the 2 stage MTC and its perfect !
