Best Steering Stabilizer
About to buy a steering stabilizer for the 14. Was going to go with the GPR because I have helibar risers. Any thoughts or problems. I heard the GPR's leaked? Also considering hyper-pro. Thanks

I had a gpr and the only downside I found was I couldn't run a lowering strap on the front. It was really compact and out of the way of everything else

I have the GPR and have used it with and without Heli Bars.
It did leak after just a couple of months use. GPR fixed it and returned it quickly under warranty. No problems since (about 3k miles).

I like the ohlins/scotts radial damper myself.
Adjustable sweep, and high and low damping adjusters.

I have the GPR and like it but I've never had to strap the bike to drag race.
It did weep a little when I got it a year ago but it's been fine for about 14K miles.

Yes it will work fine with the risers, as it mounts to the top clamp and the frame.
You have to drill 2 small holes in the frame for the bracket, so its not for everyone but it is a very simple procedure, and even supplied the tap and dril bit with my kit from HARD Racing.com.
I have had great luck with them in the past in motocross applications too, they can take allot of jostling, and mine have never leaked a drop.
Here is an old pic with the LSL risers I had.

i have the gpr and heli bars- clears no problem easy to use- knob color fades in the sun and does leak but gpr takes care of it-- both times

My GPR V4 has been on the 14 for over 1 year now with zero issues whatsoever.
I'm also sure that the Ohlins damper with the Brock's hardware can't be a bad choice.

I run the Brock's strap with a gpr and have no problems..
GPR is the one I trust..
I've had it since 07 and no issues..
I also made a very easy mounting bracket for the GPR to allow you to use the LCD screen allowing you to have access to your key and your adjusting knob on your dampener..

running the Scotts radial, last time out I noticed a splatter of oil around the damper. it's been on the bike for about 7k miles. not sure if I should send it in for rebuild???

I wanna go wit the Ohlis,its a little more expensive then the others but I like. It looks sweet on the 10r as well.

The aftermarket ohlins and the ZX10 stock ohlins are WAY different. Go with the Ohlins from Brock's, he has brackets to make it work with a strap AND heli bar risers. Just a thought

Sorry, I don't want to go off topic.....but please explain why two?
I use one and data log, etc with it.
As for the stabilizer, I'd get the one I can afford! GPR likely!

I have a GPR V4 and it started leaking after 1.5 years. The did redo all the seals but it cost me to ship it back and forth. I like the size and looks of the GPR, but if I had to do it over I would have spent the extra money and gone with Brock's Ohlins.
