Well after thinking about it for a while I decided to throw it out there. I want to do a few other things and the $ from this will help. The bike is SUPER CLEAN...Daily Streetable...and just plain SICK.......Went 206 naturally aspirated at the Mile with the gen2 cylinders, split them open. It has been rebuilt with Gen 1s and is ready to roll. I am 240# in leathers. Motor has 300 miles on fresh build.

May consider partial trades on classic muscle cars only...68-73 B & E body Mopars or 66-67 Chevy II, 67-69 Camaros...NO RACE CARS

08 Busa

1441 w/ Gen 1 Cylinders
Crower rods w/ bolt upgrade
JE Pistons (Brocks)
ACE Performance Ported Head Stage 2 w/ gen1 valves w/ custom springs
Mega Cycle Cams 415/395
APE Billet Shift Shafts
APE Cam Chain Tensioner
APE Head & Main Studs
High Volume Oil Pump Gear
NOS Wet Kit w/ Small Pump (Nozzles In The Head)
Cold Fusion Solenoids (2 NOS-1 Fuel)
NOS 2 Dial Progressive Box
2 1/2# Bottle
MPS Distributuion Block & Braided Lines
MSD SB6 Ignition
WideBand Datalogger
Bazzaz Fuel Management
Brocks Alien Head (Ceramic Coated)
Boost By Smith Window Switch
Velocity 0"-6" Arm w/ Crankcase Vent & 2 Billet Bottle Brackets
Velocity Chain Gaurd
Link-Pro
Billet Lowering Links
Buell Peg Mod w/ Coated Rear Sets
Custom Airshifter Kit w/ Cycle Tek Wiring Harness

17, 18& 19 Tooth Front Sprockets
Michelin Pilot Powers 190x50 Rear & 120x65 Front
Braided Brake Lines w/ Carbon Clear (Front & Rear)
Adjustable Billet Levers
Puig Double Bubble Windscreen
PMR Switches w/ Kill Switch
Billet Mirror Blockoffs
MPS Crankcase Blockoff
Pressure Pro NOS Regulator

Price is $16K as it sits. Not interested in parting it out YET. I would have to have firm commitments on the majority of components before parting it.

Motor made 220hp on C16 and #10 plugs. Will easily make 228-230 with oxygenated fuel and stock plugs. Has never been sprayed since the Gen 1 block was added. I do not have any N2O #s but it is jetted for around 100 hp now. It will handle more. This bike is capable of 350 hp and you can still ride it daily..........NO BS OFFERS PLEASE......There are a few other 08s out there close to this price but not with these components.

http://psychobike.com/forums/garage-sale/21867-08-dymags-1441-nos-sale.html

i think this a bad 1441 08 busa bike (went to the mile and did it thing )..but motor MADE 220HP ON C16 ..MAYBE 228-230 with oxy fuel .. heres some my proof .

in fact i've got an 08 i'll sell you ..

Yep this guys a numbers junkie who's found the right guy to play him. Go ahead and get the busa already and try for you're 246 TRUE rwhp from those mods. Be sure and take it to several different dyno's...and of course run some other equally modded 14's and busa's to see where your "246 ponies" stack up LMAO. Quit wanting to believe what a shop looking for money tells you I bet you're prime bait as soon as you step on a car lot too
If you want the true lowdown on what kinda power you'll get with those mods ask the guys here http://www.hayabusa.org/forum/forum.php they'll give you honest, real world experience numbers....but they aint gonna be what you're hoping for
I'm not knocking the busa, they're fine rides...but somebodies playing you like a fish on a line. It wouldn't matter what bike you're talking about....bullshit is bullshit

Sounds to me like you're the type that's never happy with anything. I'd say if you have that much of a need for speed why not build yourself a full blown race bike.

DEK, contrary to your statement, I'm very happy about about my 14 but if I'm hearing from very reputable people who build these bikes for a living, that a bike, which jus happens to be a Busa at this time, is making such and such amount of HP, I have a right to like it or not like it if I want. Right? There's no harm in that, after all this is a free country.

A couple of you guys are taking this post WAAAAAAAAYYY TOO SERIOUS! None of us work for KAW or SUZUKI. We buy these bike and we ride them, point blank. If you going to chestize a man or woman for there likes, dislikes, wants, desires or their opinion and it ain't costing you nothing, act like the grown ups you claim that you are and keep your negative comments to yourself. This would make for a more mature thread/forum and would cut down on sifting through the negative Bullshit comments in search of valid info. Thank You!

MJ, nobody has played me. I'm just listening to what's being said. Any problem in doing that. Until I spend and or waste money on anything, I haven't been played by anyone and no I'm not remotely interested in purchasing your Busa.

Guys, once again, learn how to construe what you are reading and understand what you are reading before you started typing comments and responding with statements that are only aimed at part of a conversation. Nobody ever heard me say that I bought anything, so therefore nobody is being played or is prime bait for anything. In fact MJ if you had taken the time to read my post you would see that contrary to what you are saying here, no I did not want to believe anything about the 246 HP that's why I checked it out with other people and also contrary to your statement, I'm not hoping for anything and nobody's playing me like a fish. Please read before responding.

240+ Horsepower Hayabusa Package

ON HYABUSA PACKAGE NOW

We have had our eyes on a certain radical, high-lift cam profile for years
but just couldn't get the output from it that we knew was lurking within.
So we got to it, designing an equally-radical port. The port alone was worth 5 hp, with the cams came another 4+hp and a new piston added 3hp.
Read the results below, this is our dyno bike with stock wheel stock tire stock chain street exhaust race gas.

Please note: Due to the aggressiveness of this cam we do not recommend this package for everyday riding

Complete with Clutch Fix, Air Box Mod and Power Scoops installed

Price complete $4,800
Turn-key: Drive-in, drive-out
Port and Valve upgrade from existing 220-230 package: $1400
Port, Valve and Cam upgrade from existing 220-230 package: $1800

Bad, that info that u got here from Carpenter's website is from the old Busas. That info has been on there a long time and it hasn't changed, even though the new Busas have now been out 2 years. They havent redone their website for the new Busas yet and he didn't seem to be in any hurry to put the new info on the website. You would think with a big name his company has, that he would be more interested in keeping the most current info on his website because his site is misleading for people with newer bikes. Jus got off the phone with Bob so that I could get the current info on the new Busa. He stated that the 3 mil piston kit with head cams, stock stroke was making 235-248 at the rear. He stated that he doesnt know why there is a varience in the HP but that they do have a ECU fuel instrument coming out in the next few days for that. This is a everyday street bike package for $4400.00.

I asked him about the cylinders splitting on the new Busas. He stated that this is the case on the 7mm stroker motors, because of the pressure and stress that comes with stroking but this is not the case with the 3 mil piston kit. They also offer 4 mil piston kits as well but most people get the 3 mil.

Spoke with Lees Performance and they are getting 235-240 HP at the rear with the 3 mil.

RC Performance is getting 246 at the rear on the new Busas. I have personally been dynoed at both Lees and RC Performance and their dynoes aren't happy Hi HP dynoes.

Yes, that info you posted here is accurate but only for the old Busas. Call him yourself and he will verify that.

Based on Carpenter's website, those are STD hp #'s....as the others are likely using as well. In SAE they would equate to 225-238 hp for Carpenter. Lee's would be 225-230 hp. RC's would be 236 hp.

Keep in mind that these #'s are their products on their dynos. What do you think sells? HP #'s sell...you must agree with that. I'm sure these guys all build a great motor...but I bet they find it funny and profitable how many people are focused on the dyno #'s, and not what the bikes run at the track.

Suzuki gives the Busa that much more engine room so that you have to build it to beat Kaw's. I love watching people work on the clutches after every pass. Oh and it takes a Busa a 30 or 40 shot to MPH like my 14 at the track.

Ya 08 Busa clutches suck we just had to replace my Buddys after 300 passes he was pissed. And we have an 08 busa with a 40 shot going 162 with a 190 lb rider but runs 151 on motor just like my 14. and 120 to 121 in the 1/8th same as me. first gen busa might need a 30 shot to run those speeds but not gen 2's. my 14 on a dyno made 198 and a 1441 busa made 238 but I think that dyno reads about 10 hp to much.

Real word #'s. Smokin's bike did 176 and 177hp SAE last night. Another did 175hp last week. With the crappy air my bike only mustered 169hp last night when 2 months ago it put down 179 SAE. Stock motor bikes DO NOT put down 200hp.

I would like someone to tell me who it was stating the 14 motor with a 4mil stroker is not a dependable street motor. I ran then since the 06 came out with 5 mil over stroke! The 3x5 is not a good street motor but its a hell of a bar hopper. The two 4mil 06's have been run for over two years one is street raced with a 80 shot, the only problem was it burn't the plugs up one time when the power commander failed. The other has 12000 miles on it. We did a 2x4 for nellecs 14 on pb,so ask him how his 06 is doing. He is just starting to drag race so i was told i could mention the bike as it isn't used for grudge racing anymore, and with a 190 lb jockey it runs 156mph in the 1/4 on motor and its a nos motor, there's another 8-10 hp in that motor with comp/cam timing etc. I would love to see smokin get a hold of one of the 4mil stk bore motors on spray, I can guarantee that hp on paper wouldn't amount to a hill of beans. I use bobs head/cams on all my motors busa, gsxr 10 -14 and i use a superflow dyno i have yet to see a streetable busa make over 227 actual hp. The best running track busa motors make 240 here but the best pass here was a 3x5 14 that ran 8.22 169 and made 232 hp on motor. A dyno is just a tool, the track/street is what counts......................Bill

I have actually been told by several builders that they wouldn't recommend stroking if the bike is going to be used primarily as a street bike because of several reasons: Higher mileage, oeverall stress on the bearings and overall stress on the engine. As far as stroking for the track, perfect but not for street riding, not unless you don't have a problem tearing the engine down more often and refreshing or replacing the bearings.

Trust me, I'd like to have the extra low end torque and power of a 2 or 4 mil stroker in addition to the piston kit that's already in it but I have been advised against that from someone who could've easily lied and taken my money if they wanted to. So I didn't do it.

Everybody knows that the Suzuki is the better engine if you plan to build it but who cares? What's the big fuss about anyway?? Just about any GOOD engine builder that knows what he's doing will agree that the Busa motor is by far the easiest to build and offers more options as to which way you can go with it. Doesn't matter to me either way since IK've had both the 08 Busa and now the 08 14 and although I can tell you without a doubt the Busa in stock form is stronger than the stock 14 but I still prefer the 14 for my style of riding.

First off your asking guys that the Busa is there bread and butter and has been for 10+ years .. Without the busa these engine builders would be picking fruit ...So what the hell you think they are going to tell you ... Second you act like Bill is selling you a load of crap , well i can tell you what Bill said is the truth .. He has built these 14s motors , raced these 14 motors and the man is at the track watching what really goes on .. If he tells you that a zx14 with a STD bore and 4 mill stroke is fine on the street it's the truth .. Cody Adams will tell you the same thing as will APE and Orient Express ..
I build stroker street motors for tons of street car guys and i can tell you first hand the bearings see no more wear than a none stroker .. What kills bearing are super high compression engines , they need to be checked offten because they will hammer the bearing shells in a short time .. Most of my street motors go from 3.75 stroke to 4.500 stroke so 4 mill is nothing ... Would i try to run a 5 by 3 on the street ? Hell NO !! Nor would anyone else with any brains .. I never bore a motor over STD unless needed . If i do bore a motor i keep it as small as i can .. Stroke in 99% of engines will yeld more usable power than boring the same amount .. Keeping a std bore holds the heat in and doesn't blead heat into the coolant , heat is HP and i want to keep it in the chamber and not in the coolant..
