21K on Muzzy Stage 1,stock motor

Best time 9.82 at 141. Drag season is always difficult at best. But in the 9's every run. Corrected altitude usually 7 to 9K. Rider 200 lbs. Track temp 100+ F. Total miles 31K +. Muzzy is dead reliable. Cam chain adjuster was crap.

WIth all respect. Does the turbo actually work? 9.82 @141 is slow, very slow at that. I see guys run that every time out at the track with NA. I would be disgusted if I paid that kind of money for a turbo with those results. I am sure Muzzys does'nt wan't to see you posting those numbers on here either. Thanks for the post though

The first time I flew an airplane at sea level the experience was shocking. Tons of power and the nose was pointed down so you could see over the cowling. Low altitude pilots are stunned at how fast the ground speed is compared to the airspeed. The worst time for a ZX-14 was 16 sec at 116 mph, no traction. Most ZX-14s up here struggle for the high 10s. Have seen many a long faces that come up from California and perform like sh#t.

OK, agreed 9K elevation is considerable for sure, but the point is its still not making much power due to elevation, which definately good for duarbility.

Not to be rude, but run it with the same tune at see level - 2000ft, where it will make the power and tell us about your longevity.

I think your logevity has as much to do with you, how you maintain, and ride the bike, as the kit.

How many evacuator pumps have you used?

Have the same pump that came with the kit. Avg mph is 145 with a high of 147. The 1/8 is coming along going from 106 to 116. Just keep hitting those snot spots that cars leave behind. They are supposed to have a diaper but the Sportsman class seem to be exempt. 9.82 is the best ET so far but is rapidly coming down with seat time. Bike weighs 543 lbs with 2 gal of fuel.
