The Wife and my ZX14!
This past weekend I let her ride the bike about 100kms up the highway to the SportBike Rally! We sold her 500 Ninja in the spring, so I thought it would only be fair!
Pretty cool watching her ride it! She was VERY happy! LOL!!!
Lots of people sure turned their heads as she rode through town!
Check out the ZX14.com sticker!!

Sweet! So um ... since yer in the mood to post pics of the wife ... um ....
Oh Snap! Did I just cross that line? I mean on the 14 of course! lol
I'm just jealous, she probably rides better than me. She looks relaxed and stuff, not all stiff like other woman riders do, er perhaps other newbie women riders.
Kudo's for having a wife that is into the same stuff you are, it's heaven eh?

Man, there is something so sexy about chicks on bikes...
A bit of hair flowing in the breeze would have topped that right off!
Looks good.

She's a good rider, and been riding for over 3 yrs. She is very relaxed! And you should hear my bike when she gets on the gas!! (I was following behind with my truck!)
I do have pics of her posing in a thong on my 05 636!! LOL!!

Hell no!! LOL!! She actually says the 14 is pointless (power wise) and took a little to get used to turning it compared to her 500!!
She has her heart set on getting a ZX7 or another 600 class type bike or SV. We get one for her, but finances aren't allowing it this year!!

My wife would kill herself on a bike. At times I've thought I'd give her one of her own.
But we get on alot better now!!!!

Eclipse, I think that comes natural with a class 1 drivers license.
I too have a class1, and used to drive logging trucks. Super B's, also 7 axle with jeep and pole trailer. I miss it somedays. We were lucky to have double overdrive 18 speeds, 600 HP cats and cummins, 60 K lb rears with tripple locks,
Between driving such a big vehicle, and a motorcycle, the defensive habits and awareness we learn to habit, make people who have only ever driven a car look careless.
I cringe when my wife drives the car, she doesn't monitor her mirrors constantly like us bikers, and truck drivers do, and thus is not aware what is beside her, approaching an intersection, or any of the things a professional driver looks for.
For those who haven't driven a big truck, stay out of the blind spot.
If he can't see you in his mirrors, or out the windows, he may not know you are there.
The good ones will because they saw you pulling along side the trailer in his mirror before you disaapeared, and will know where you are.

Isn't that the truth! I used to drive trucks into NYC and Boston. Talk about being on your guard constantly. I also road raced for about 6 years. I think that taught me the most about looking as far ahead as you can while still being aware of what's between here and there. It amazes me how so many drivers are so surprised by incidents that should have been easily avoidable.
