I just sold mine - I hated it - not very quiet and looks goofy with the drop down smoke visor. I love my EXO-700's though.

Heard alot of bad things about the 1000 series. Everyone seems to love the 700's though. Me personally I wont buy anything other than Sharks. I absolutly love them.

1000s had bad ventilation reviews online. I looked at the helmet before buying the Icon, but decided against it since reviews weren't all that good

After my purchase of a arai, I don't see myself wearing anything different. They are kinda high, but it survived my last crash, and it fits me perfect!

I own two RX7's myself. Was looking into trying the Scorpion just to say I own one. Overall, I hear the helmet is the best bang for the buck.

I bought a EXO-700. Sold it after a couple of months. Hated it. Noisy, and it just didn't fit my head at all. Graphics were cool and overall construction was decent. I didn't care for the gimmicky stuff on the 1000.
I have been unable to find anything to fit my head other than an Arai.

I kept breaking the visor holdown assemblies...and parts were impossible to get...so were smoke visors. It was an 800.00 helmet (RSR). I tossed it after 2 seasons. It was a nice helmet - light and quiet too...but was prone to bad design on some parts.

I have the 1000 and somewhat like it. I ride east every morning to work and west when I go home. Sun is in my eyes both rides. The drop down visor is nice but I wish it was a tad bit darker. It does distort your vision a bit and gives me a headache if I use it for a long period of time. As for noise, it is not bad at all. Not sure if I will go with the same helmet next year but I am not totally ruling it out right now.
