Need some advice all motor or nitrous
Im in the middle of this build. But at a crossroad. I already have the je pistons 13.5cp. Im going to go ahead and send the head to get ported polished and valve job. My problem is. Should i get the web cam that are slightly better that the stockers. With the balancers gone and the crank lightened balanced. Or should i just go with nitrous. Im for sure going to get the valve springs for the head. Im not the richest man in the world. But does it make sense to do that with the motor if im only getting maybe 8-10 more hp than degreeing the stock cams and leaving the bottom end stock. This bike is going to be a street and strip bike. Ive been thinking about a 40-60 shot on the nitrous if i go that way. I have the money to continue with the motor. Would u fellas that have a set up like this please chim in.

IMO cams are not worth it, mine went fastest with the stock cam sprockets, no degree. Nitrous is much more cost efficient if you're smart about it

if your a canon or distance speed rider, do the motor.... ridable , contolable and reliable for hours on end power increase.
if your a drag guy do the juice... bottles don't last long.. measured in seconds or 1 minute at best, but it is the cheaper way to make much much more power than you could ever get without a stroker big bore, and even then...youd be hard pressed to see +40 HP on a 1530 cc ported engine.
Nitrous is like crack though. Addictive and you will always want more, especially when you run out..

just go with a good motor and a small shot for when you need to take down that those guys that talk shit
