Leaving tomorrow to do the trip for the... 8th time? And Dino is back on board this year baby!

I never get bored of reading this story, but freek hope you might find a Marriott somewhere along the way, the tent thing looks somewhat brutal

Hopefully it will be uneventful.
Steve IMHO these guys are tough. No way would I want to camp out there after that long a ride. Just walking around the track takes it out of you because of the heat and steep climbs just to see different parts of the track. I am going and my ride is only about 400 miles (we take the scenic routes) but we have hotels.

I like reading and rereading this post while sitting at work and daydreaming of my moto road trip planned for the beginning of sept. Starting near Dallas and going to do some tent camping in Colorado.

SteveWFL, I'm gettin older (and less cheap) and find myself moteling it on the way, except for the night at Dino's place. So yeah, only camping at the track now, and with Big Gar's hospitality, it is significant;y more comfortable than on Fox Hill.
