steering dampener

I've got an ohlins dampener with a Brocks mounting kit , the bolt at the front of the tank into the frame keeps loosening . I dont want to locktite it .
Anyone else had this problem / what was the best solution???
It is a great product and I'm happy with it other than this problem.

Use a few drops of the blue medium sparingly and you can't go wrong.

Put a Ohlins/Brocks on mine last month. Thanks for the heads-up...I'll keep a close watch on that bolt.

Blue or red Locktite on everything that the SM calls for!

There are no ill effects to use the blue on any bolts

Today at the track the bolt at the frame snapped . When I got to the pits to take it off , the brass cylinder that goes down the fork tube was gone .
I will check it out in the daylight tomorow and give you more info.
Anyone else had this happen ?
I will see if I can use easy outs to remove the snapped bolt and see if Brocks
will sell just the bracket for the centre mount, I still have faith in him and his product .

OK this is what I think has happened , the bolt with the brass bush has snapped dropping the brass bush down the headstem tube and out the other end (lost).
After this I presume is when I noticed the bolt into the frame coming loose . So if this happens to you take it off and inspect the bush .
So then I think the extra pressure has loosened the bolt that goes into the frame !
Hopefully two easyout extractions of the two snapped studs and if I can purchase just the brass section all will be well at minimul cost.
Learn from my mistake if this bolt loosens inspect the brass bush!!!
Any one heard of this happening before?
