where can i hide it?
I got a buddys bike that im working on. Hes wanting a simple 40 shit nitrous kit. But wants it hidden. But i cant really find a place for a bottle. Any1 did this? Got a pic of where i could hide the bottle? I was thinking the seat, but he says the guys he races always look under the seat. Might try something in the nose cone. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Try replacing the battery with one of those speed cell Dubious is selling and fab a bottle to fit in the battery compartment if it's not to hot for the juice.

...I guess it comes to how bad he wants it hidden...only other thing I can think of is to modify the gas tank...smaller tank with bottle somehow hidden inside.
Shane had a good idea with his battery mount in the nose cone, but you would have to get rid of some lights and do some bodywork.

Sorry, bro...but cheating is expensive!! There is no cheap way to do this. If you remove the ram air you could probably put some sneaky pete bottles up front. Otherwise, it's going to cost $$...

You could also gut a headlight and paint it black from the inside...put a 1 lb. there...but that would arouse suspicion. Black tint the lights on each side...maybe fool them?
I'm out of cheap ideas!!

Lol i hear you. On my bike i got it right out in the open. Doesnt really matter if its seen. But ill figure something out. I have all plastics off his now. Right under the headlights theres a lil room im thinking i can get a small 1 there. Would inside the airbox be too risky? I can see this is goona be a task.

The main thing I see wrong with hiding it under the gas tank and places like that, he's gonna have to take all that shit off JUST to change the bottle... A bottle won't fit in the left or right side of the tail plastics? I think I've seen a small bottle there before

1 lb bottle will fit under the hump if you carve out the seat foam

I heard of a guy rerouting his stock exhaust into one can and using the other for a nitrous bottle. That must have been one fast stocker

Take two of the small bottles and but then wright inside the air box. Its tight but it will work and its a pain to fill the bottles but its the price you pay for street racing. It all depends on how bad you want to win . When i use to street race the money was good, but the cost to run a competitive bike was crazy expensive . Just look at some of the grudge bikes the next time your at a ama event, you'll see what i mean...........................Bill

When the cover is bolted over the seat the nitrous bottle is hidden. But still if you lift up the seat you are going to have the hose mounted into the seat and connected to the nitrous bottle. Which is a quick disconnect but still you will be able to see that you are running nitrous if you lift up the seat. You always can be clever and put your hand over the hose while you lift up the seat to show someone.
Still customizing my bike. I just want to point out that my new paint job looks hot, metallic black and all bottom is carbon fiber.
