testing 08 zx14 tomorrow
Tomorrow were testing my new zx14 for semdra sat. My mods as of now consist of:
Brocks adj lowering links
Front lowered 1" and strapped
16t front 43t rear
Stretched 9"
Air shifter
Schnitz springs in clutch
Full bore rear tire
I'm running ultra street(6.0 1/8mile) and street et
Will let you guys know how it turns out!

no pipe. $$ isnt looking right for a piep. my 06 14 is sold, guy is comming sunday morn from virginia to pick it up. when i get a pipe it will be a brocks more than likely

bad bad night at test and tune for semdra.... with the above mods ran a 6.48, 6.47 6.47 and a 6.38... talk about dissapointed. i ran faster than that at stock wheelbase on the 06. tomorrow is semdra, and as long as it stays consistant, thats all i need tomorrow. i was loosing my time in the 60ft. all 1.6's... i dont understand why this bike is 60ft is so slow. maybe its the stock exhaust?? monday im ordering a brocks smeg and see if thats what the problem is.

That 60' is really bad with your wheelbase. Did you have wheelspin?
How many miles are on the bike??

Something is wrong ..I went 9.62 with nothing but a strap and lowering links on my 09 ..

i think 9 inches extended may be too much, you might hook better with 4-6" just my 2 cents

The full bore tire has absolutely NO problem hooking! Great tire!!! I'm running 30psi and I'm leaving as hard as I can, no wheelspin yet. Today (sat) by best run so far is
Rt: .058
60ft: 1.542
330: 4.094
1/8 6.240
Mph 114.30
Track temp 149
Barometer 32.49
Mph is still WAY off. I'm taking a good guess at exhaust is where the mph and et is, and the barometric pressure is pretty bad. Still in the race so I will keep you guys posted

Got put out by the guy that made it to the finals... By .0014 sucks but ok for the first weekend on the new bike.

Dang eklipse I didn't know that was you. I was the black guy on the black 06 that came up to you in the lane in street et and asked how you liked the 08. You told me you liked your 06 better. I got put out in the 3rd by the guy on the blue and silver busa. I ran my number but I slept at the tree. He beat by a tire. Yeah it stung a little but all in all a fun day.
