Help Guys problem with my bike!

Well tonight was the first time in a long time I could get out and put some miles on the 14. Got to a section of road where I knew I could let her eat and anything above 9000 and the was so much blueish/white smoke behind me I could not see anything. the for two or three wacks of the throttle after that it would puff smoke. But then if I road normal 70 mph in 6th or 5th no smoke so took her back to 9000 and smoke again very bad. pulled in the garage and wiped oil from end of exhaust. I did replace the pan could it be the pickup tube or hose that's in the pan? otherwise I have not changed anything. Sucks my first race is saturday

It goes up to your Crank case vent ... You can remove it or just cut 2 inches or so off of it ... Either way works fine ..Bently make sure to clean all the oil out of you air box and drains .. I'm sure it's full of oil by now ..

I took mine off completly too bently. I had the same thing happen I have about 300 miles and 50 passes at the track and no problems. But the problem I had when it was sucking oil into the airfilter box was when the bike sat the oil would fill clynder #4 causing hydrolock. So before you attempt to start it after sitting awhile it would be good to pull #4 plug and look down in there for oil. Might save you some heartache! I just used a little hose and sucked it out. I figured Id rather taste shitty oil than have a junk motor anyday.

You could also take the plug out and crank it over with the coils disabled...put a rag over the hole so it won't squirt all over the place.

Just a thought, unless of course you like the taste of 5w40 ...LOL

I have pumped water out of drowned dirtbikes and ATV's for friends in this manner before.
One dood was looking in the hole when i cranked the motor and got a shot of muddy water right up the nose ....LOL

Well I should have read this sooner as I went to start the bike and sure enough would not turn over had oil in number 4, took plug out and cranked over to blow oil out and then reinstalle the plug and started right up. my only concern is if the plugs are shot shop was closed already and first race is tomorrow. guess she will run or not.

Hydrolock can be a rod killer, oftentimes you bend the rod. I'm glad you came out fine and got the problem permanently fixed

Bently I just sprayed mine with 2+2 lit with a lighter and let burn off. My plugs only had 10miles on them but its worth a try. If you got it running...no knocking, and seems good I dont think you will have anything to worry about. Be prepared to see smoke out the pipe for quite a few miles but it will clear up.
