well, you're wrong.. the busa & the 14 were both ridden on the same roads under the same conditions .. i'm sorry that you can't accept this , nor the conclusion that both are great bikes..

Fish your just still pissed that Kawi ignored you about your over heating issue... Kawis have always run a bit on the hot side. I will admit though the heat on the legs is kinda touchy in traffic, but I didnt buy it to sit still on.
They are both as different as they are the same... and both are very good bikes...

No one's pissed about anything so I'm not clear on how you get that from a long term review and a comparison of two models.
Kawi didn't ignore me (or us) on the heating issue.. they not only replicated it, but they confirmed that all 14's would exhibit it.. furthermore, thanks in part to our experiences the C14 comes stock with 2 cooling fans.
We're happy that Kawi listened and at least C14 owners benefited from what happened to us ____________ What business is it of yours where I'm from, Friendo?

Nice article! It came across as more of a Busa article then a comparison which is fine. The good points of the Busa were definitely pushed harder then the good points of the 14. I did like how you beat the bike up over the brakes
The 14 runs hot and we all knew that just check the archives so not sure what the whining is about.
The 14 is definitely the bike for me but I can sure understand how some would favor the Busa.
One tip for you though, throw some boobs in there next time and noboby will even read the content. All you will hear is "nice article"!
Good article, I read it as a test of a long term bike, with comparisons being made (from time to time) with its' nearest realworld rival AKA ZX14. In future, please compare all long term test bikes against the Ducati 1198S, this will keep the whining to a minimum from the 14 guys while also allowing me to compare my bike with whatever is being tested. I know the 1198 has better brakes than the Busa, as it was mentioned in the article, I think I'm down a smidge on power, but well down on weight.

I think Fish did an article on the 1198 a while back. He said something like he would rather ride a fresh warm turd then the 1198 but still thought it was better overall then a 14. I will do some digging and see if I can find it.

Hey Fish, bring that Busa down saturday to Ducati of Seattle and meet me, Gilberjj, and Some Guy for the BBQ and dyno shootout. You can run it on the dyno, then we can all swap bikes off and get a same day, back to back consensus on this. No drag strip runs needed, everyone knows where they stand on the empirical numbers.
