Guage lens melting!!

I just saw today that my gauge lens started to melt from the sunlight! The factory wind screen magnifies the sunlight melting the lens. I live in Texas south of Houston, the sun down here can get kinda hot.. Can the lenses be changed? or do I have to but hole new cluster?

Looks like the lens is available. Check out ronayers.com

I had a Puig that did the same thing to my zx9. It left sharp melting marks in the top of the black plastic.
I had to keep it covered in the sunlight.

Man, what I wouldn't give to have this problem. I will trade you melted guage lenses for an aftermarket alternator to power up a full electric body suit!
