would be hard to do without that pivot point.

Very true... The shifter bolts directly to the shaft huh... I haven't payed attention to a zx14 with aftermarket rearsets, but they still don't give the shifter a pivot point do they?

no, aftermarket sets like the vortex allow GP shift. they goto a conventional rear set with shift shaft and pivot joint.

Trac had vortex sets on sale for $250 a while back....
I think thats the cheapest way you will find....

Not possible. I want the same thing but dont want to splurge for the new rear sets. Try the linkage off of a 600 or 1000 and see if it fits. You might be able to do that.

Im installing the vortex rear sets on my 2007 ZX, too many shift erors on the track going back and forth, ran in to a snag that I will work around (any suggestions from those that have this set up)...
The welded rod on the kickstand mounting frame that secures the recoil spring of your stand is right inline with the shift rod when you invert the shift knuckle for GP config!!! There are a few work arounds, none that I'm crazy about doing , but its raiing all friggin wek on the east coast so if anyone's dealt with this, please let me know!

Use a quick shifter, if it is allowed in supersport.
