40 dry shot notrous advice
Well , my ambitions and capabilities are not the same ! . Im stock wheelbase , pump gas ,, straped, 110 KG , shinko u/s. It is activated at 7000RPM , second gear at WOT , by a Dynotune window switch .. . I am not a good rider and it came up fast and 12 oclocked, I shit myself , any advice on when and what gear to activate? It is single stage , 40 shot , no progresive controller , Dynotune system sprayed into the ram air ducts before the air filter.
I dont have funds for more parts so just want to alter what Ive got for now .
It dynod at 211HP / 135 torque without ram air . Dont want to land on my arse , but now Ive got it pride says it must be used ,ego sucks!!!
Thanks guys .

i would activate it by push button(like the horn) or in later gears only. or lengthen the swingarm.

If your wanting to stay @ stock wheelbase, you need the progressive controller.
I'm stkwb, strapped, brocks, muzzy shifter/nos combo, schnitz 2-dial and spray (50) as soon as I shift to 2nd w/no problems. You need just a small amount of build time to make it work.

Chris is correct,
or try 4th then work down to 3rd gear...
I am quite confidemt it will want to stand up in 3rd as well...
If you can lower the rear end as well, that will help with wheelies too as CG is lowered.
The first time I tried my 50 shot was in 5th at ~230 km/hr and it spun the rear tire...LOL
Had to lower my rear tire pressure 3-5 psi more.
Glad you and bike are OK BTW....

I did the 40 hp unit on my wifes bikes ..... she hits it top of 3rd.
Her bike has 16/41 gearing and it'll pick up the front tire about a foot, then ease back down.

I forgot , it is a two stage controller , so if I buy a second solenoid , any one know what size jets and when to activate ??? As maybe this will be a cheaper way out .

if you get a controller, i would go with the NOS mini progressive. a lot of features. will control 2 stages, built in TPS, RPM window for both stages, output control, etc
and most of all, ITS CHEAP!!

with the mini, you can set your nitrous to activate at WOT through the TPS voltage and use a delay, so say you prog. it to delay 2sec after WOT to start at 25% and build to 100% over a 3sec window. start with a long delay and long build time and shorten it up as you see what will keep the bike on the ground.
and if you have a hub with two maps, you can use the output on the NOS mini to change maps when you spray.

I would have saved the cash and stretched that bad boy. You will probably run better E T's.
Lots of HP for a short bike.

ZX Bob , the 40 shot on your wifes bike , is her bike stock w/b ?
Is it one solenoid , no progresive controller? What rpm in third is she activating ?
I also have 16/41 , .
Im lazy and broke , so copying a working set up sounds good.
