Hey Lee, i dont race at TMP much. I do know Moose i think hes an old mustang car. he prob would know me as the guy that had the black mustang that has the red motorcycle now. We have 3 8th mile tracks and 1 quarter mile TMP and a new quarter mile track IHRA coming soon dallasraceway.com
Yup Moose is a Mustang nut for sure ..Back when i lived in Corsicana TX I had a 69 Boss 429 i raced .. If you run into Moose ask him about it ..He will get a kick out of that ...lol... Oh here is Mooses Web Site .. http://www.moosestangperformance.com/ I post over there as well as some of my old racing buddies from 30 years ago ...

Your red one still looks good too, which is amazing as many times as the body has been on and off!

Running strong is to be expected though, its common knowledge the red ones are the fastest

150 suited?

I already went down two teeth on my rear sprocket, I'm wondering if I can go more. I kind of miss when I was running 17/43 and could really hammer it (when I first got it to the track). I'm at 16/43 now...the bike is really light up front with 1 rotor, no headlight, and the BST.

I think the bike is at about 475 lbs. right now, with 1.5 gallons. I should know for sure next week. I am 193 lbs. unsuited...

Shane 16/43 is to much .. 16/42 or 16/41 at that weight would be better ..

I have a 42 here, and my Michelin is a little taller than the Shinko, so that may work out well. But I may order a 41 just to be on the safe side. I could really give it a lot of throttle off the line with the 17/43 and my 60 foots averaged better than they do now, believe it or not.

My 330's weren't as good, but I didn't have the shifter either. And my footshifting is really bad. Plus I was dragging the clutch out too far down the track. And that was at about 750 lbs. of bike and rider.
