you are absolutely correct shift gear mechanism was nearly off, there is a spacer that holds it in place it was missing could not understand when i tilted the bike to right i'd get this clicking sound in nuetral.stand the bike upright or put it in gear and it would stop.truly a sad shop. this is the worst shop i have heard of or experienced. in dartmouth dont stop there

Lucky you are not dead. Good riding btw. Had to pull the clutch on two bikes, so I know the feeling.
Once again, the previous owner would not go near a shift mech for any service being normal maintenance. That mech is maybe young or if experienced is check his dixie cup fluids. Wink Wink.
I have a video of my pit crew proving dixie samples is they can now hang wit me. I do not need a habit wrenching on my bike. I would like to see the PH turn color before you pick up the craftsman.
