needing help upgrading my T REX ,zx14 motor
im handicapp and im trying to find an auto shifter and make my trike faster got any suggestions

I've installed one of these for a neighbor who was disabled in a constuction accident. He was able to get back on his Honda four wheeler and head back out to the dunes with his buddies. Good stuff!!!!!!!
It's all electric, shifts up and down and with a bit of practice, you can find neutral. The hardware is very nice, but be prepared to do some fabricating.
The US distributer is in Florida I believe.

These shifters are top notch for electric shifters. There are a few people on here that run them on their bikes and are very happy.

Thats awsome man... I put a Pingle electric on my 14 it works flawless and dont have to mess around with bottles, and with you havin a battery in that at all times might be the way to go.

Go to mpsracing.com. MPS owns the pattent on the autoshifter and sells it to Pingel and the rest of the guys.

hotwheeling air can be a problem if you need it constantly.
Air is better suited for drag racing where you make a pass and pump it back up.
I think you want something that will handle multiple shifts and still be ready.
If you still want air may I suggest a CO2 setup with the very large bottle.
Do you want power down shift also?

I use a MPS set up on both my bikes with an onboard compressor. I haven't foot shifted in i don't know how long. You can set it up to up shift and down shift. (mpsracing.com)

I had inital problems the first time at the track with the pingle...due to setting the delay time. Once I got that set up I have made over 40 passes now it has yet to miss a shift, has the ability to downshift you want to use that feature. I have noticed on the steet if you attempt to upshift and let off the throttle it will miss a shift. If your going to always have a battery onboard why piss with compressors, bottles, pressures when all you have to do is hit a button. Ive had a couple of guys with busas having airshifters, saying they wish they got a pingle. Whatever the route you decide theres always alot of us here that will help out with any questions on install.
