What a great night it must have been for you all tonight. Lee, I remember PeeWee on the 1983 Honda V65 commercial, freaked everybody out. He tested everybody's bike in the eighties. If I remember correctly, he ran a 10.6 on what eventually became my first street bike, the 84 Kawasaki 900 Ninja. What a thrill. And Lee, that is some serious good riding...are you ever gonna get paid?

Getting the "feel" for Eleanor..

Ready to haul the mail, nobody does it better than Jay Peewee Gleason

2nd run, Right off the trailer Peewee runs a 9.58 complete with wheelie!

Next we have SmokinZx14 vs Peewee, not Lee's best run at 9.58 to Peewee's 9.59 but a really cool race

Lee doing his thing. 8.98 on his SmokinZx14, Steddy teddy in near lane ran great too!

Peewee may have been faster but Lee is still my pilot and gave a good showing. We tuned it as we went. but once we started making power there was no clutch left.

Thanks Lee for a great night of fun. :cheer: Order me a clutch! lol

Wow, what a great event! Great to see that Gleason can still get it done (and then some!), and Lee must have been riding the wheels off of your bike...1.57...nice! Big props to Lee for turning the best 60 ft. yet on an '09 Vmax!

Awesome pics and video!

Get that clutch!

Shane

Smoking you should have let peewee make a run on your 14 that would of been interesting! Nice times from the Vmax as well. Still to bad they cost so damn much or one would look great next to my 14 and triumph!

Tommys zx14 ? Tommy and I were both spinning on the top end of the track and that killed some MPH ... I could not get better than 151 all night ....Most days i'm 153 to 154 .... It was hot with nasty humidity .... We were both still sweating in our leathers at 10:30 at night ...

I had a blast last night. Those 2 V-maxes were getting it done. It's a rare event to see another rider humble smokin but Jay still has mad skills! Brock's new ZRX exhaust was making power last night. Previous best with my Ackrapovic was a 9.35 with most runs between 9.37 to 9.41. Last night with nothing more than bolting on Brock's exhaust I ran a best of 9.269 and 2 9.29's! My slowest run of the night was a 9.41 because of a wheelie in first.

Steddy hang in there man, I got boat load o pics of you guys (Teddy, Tommy, Lee) that I still have to edit/upload. I havent slept yet & my poor clutch barely made it home. You can't yank on it at all now, hits limiters instantly & is making a boat load of power between 6 &10k. I need a street map instead of this WFO thats loaded. I'll get more pics up later. Thanks again for a great event You guys rock!

MPH came up 1 to 2 over previous best in both the 1/8 and 1/4. Hoping get back on the dyno tonight or tomorrow to see just how much gain I got and where my AF ratio is now. You got some good pictures as usual BM! What a fun night!

??? Don't know. I spun off the line on that run. If it's a sign of what's left in this bike I need to improve my riding.

You gotta love these guys. Racing is in their Blood! Too bad Lee & I were the only ones old enough to know who PeeWee was.
