I did and had some problems.watch what you set the shift point at the rev limiter is lower then the tach redline.10800rpm is the limiter. I found that you have to go almost the max for kill time.is the hub not killing at all ? set the shift at 3000 and check the circut with a light . check to make sure you want the digi to see a ground to activate.

I dont want to increase my kill time.

it will shift now from 2nd to 3rd and to 4th but no 1st-2nd. I am trying something tomorrow. I just cant afford a missed shift on nitrous. wondering which of the autoshifts out there people have successfully used with the digikill

shifts every time using the horn button.

all the hub has to do is send a ground! others are having problems with the relay output on the hub, so i dont know

You are using the hub output to activate a relay, so the digikill see's ground when the relay is activated right?

I did not use the hub for auto shift.
DJ told me I had to use the relay output to activate a 12 v automotive relay, I used the relay to activate the second map for nitrous.

All I know is the relay output on the hub doesn't supply 12 volts, and can't handle any amperage.

Also might add, I had to increase kill for 1st to 2nd shift.
I was able to run 0ms with the air solenoid on the ram, and 30 ms kill, except the 1st to second shift required 40ms.

I have a the relay output wire going through a relay to make a ground activation. Its sending a ground, because it works in the upper gears. I have my delay set to 0, solenoid on the ram, and the kill set to halfway(no numbers on the digi). If i have to increase my kill too much, I am going to try something else. 40ms is not that much though at all. is that with a digikill?

yup, originally it was 40 ms delay, and 40 ms kill.
when I put the solenoid on the ram , i was able to do away with delay.
it was a digikill, bought it in 2006

I'm using the MPS autoshift box. 10800 chip. It's been on the bike since June 06. No problems. (lifetime warranty too)

are you using the MPS autoshift w/ kill, or just the auto box on top of another kind of kill?

The only thing to keep in mind with the MPS-Auto, is it is a pretty big box. I had to cut the underside of my seat for it to fit.

Thanks................. I guess that would work. But with space being an issue, I would prefer to have both functions in one unit. Plus, they would both be covered under the lifetime warranty.
