First Race of the Season

Went yesteday to the first race of the season. Was disappointed in my 60fts once again pulling 1.6 and 1.5s. In the semis i had to run a 8second dragbike with wheeliebar. I pulled a 1.291 60ft but had had to bag the run so I didnt break out. I guess i needed a little push from someone to make me do it. I wish i knew that that run would have been if i didnt have to get on the brakes? Needless to say I went on and won my first race of the season. Heres the slip...Im in the right lane

my Booza would run 3.8 330's with a 1.41 60', I would think with a 1.29 60' you would be at the 330 a lot faster than me?

those beams have got to be broken. 116 in the 1/8 with a 1.29 60' WTF? not bashing I think the 60' cones are about 10-15 ft too close

Don't know why you guys are so upset, I know PLENTY of Vmax owners that would kill to have a 116mph 1/8mile trap speed. Or even a 116mph 1/4mile trap speed.

I would also say that time slip is goofy. With that kind of 60 ft you should have went alot fast then 5.97 just for comparison I went 1.45 60 ft and ran 5.89. with a 1.29 that should be 5.50's. it happens at my track at least once a month. The times will be goofy untill about the 1000ft then it all comes back to normal. then they shut the track down for alittle bit and the numbers are right again. it's not your mph that's off it's you 330 and 1/8th mile time. but good job on the win.

Sometimes the harder you try the worse it gets ...Relax and just try to make a smooth clean pass ..The fastest passes are the ones where you didn't even try .... It will feel so smooth you would swear it was your worse pass ever till you look at the ticket ...Just try not to over think it ...

I was about to take a bat to my bike, 1.29 is what I used to get on my bar bike. You had me totally rethinking my hobby. I looked at your bike info hoping you were like 75 inch wheelbase or something.
