Those runs are sweet. Not being a drag racer myself can someone point me to a resource that describes the rules and bike specs for the different classes e.g., super street vs. super sport.

Thanks alot guys!! Street ET winner on Sunday was huge, but my best accomplishment by far was my Pro ET win on Saturday night. That will go down as my greatest win to date. The Pro ET racers at AMA Dragbike are some of the best in the country. 99% of the bikes in this class are wheelie bar/slicks/delay boxes. Also, crosstalk is used in this class, which makes it even harder for a no-bar/no-box streetbike like mine to win because the track wouldn't turn it off when I requested them too when I was the faster bike. I think that is a load of crap but if thats how they do it, then I just have to deal with it.
In the finals on Saturday night, I was up against last years AMA Top Gas class champion Mike Konopaki. I cut a .002 reaction time, and ran 9.171 on a 9.17 dial. Call it luck, maybe it was, but oh well. For once I can say I beat the best!!
ZX-14's were representing for sure. Bob Carlson won Street ET Saturday night on his ZX-14, and I won Street ET on Sunday on mine. On Sunday, the final 3 bikes remaining in Street ET were all ZX-14's!!!
Here's the timeslip's from both wins!!

Yep! I put 5 bar bikes on the trailer Saturday night, before getting the bye to the finals, and then putting that 6th bar bike on the trailer! When that win light came on, I screamed all the way through the shutodwn and all the way up the return road, lol.

Pat, did you you used to run a Tsukigi sidewinder? I saw a pic on the Schnitz site that looks like your bike.
posted April 07, 2009 01:08 PM
Yea, I ran the Tsukigi for about a year. Quality was top-notch, just couldn't run the same numbers I did with the Muzzy. When the Muzzy M14 4-2-1 sidewinder came out, I gave it a try and I love it.
