Acat, I removed the idle opening of course so the blades fully close. Then I take contact cleaner to the one side, fill the blades with fluid, then watch who is dripping more than the others. I tap the fly until they all match.
So it is more a 2-stage smoothing tactic. One is to wet sync the blades to drip even. The next is to air sync like normal. This way, you can choose any of the 4 sync holes and will be even with either blade for the air sync.
