Finally hit the 9s!!!!
I can't tell you guys how happy I am. The test n tune was an absolute joke yesterday as I only got two runs. This was the first of the season and we got started late because of rain. With multiple jalopies breaking down every other pass, I knew I had to pull it together to get into the 9's (my goal). Well, I did it on my first pass of the season with a 9.899@145. My 60' was still only 1.73, but my 330' was greatly improved. I know I can go 9.5 with a couple more passes. I tried to launch too hard and spun real bad on my second run. That was a personal worst time of 12.4. haha, the spin show (2.9 60') turned into a wheelie show (I thought I might wheelie for fun since the run was already in the can). Thanks for all your help with my questions! 9.5s here I come.

Hey Dude,
Great job! I'm on your heals so to speak. I'll be going back to the track again tommorow night and I'm once again aiming for the high 9's. Actually, if I pulled your 9.89 out of my bike I'd be thrilled. I had only dipped into the 9's once with a 9.94 and I want more really BAD !

No, I saw a post where you were kidding with Lucky about meeting at Kennadale Drag Strip.
I use to work at D&D Exhaust for years and was a Tool Maker at Harrison Jet Guns just up the street from the Drag Strip. I use to race my GS1100 there back in the day... :-) track was shorter back then,,,, not enough room to stop in Fast cars.
I asked you if you ever Raced at Ennis at The Motor Plex. loking foward to seeing you and some others that have ZX-14 that live here in the DFW area.
See ya

Here's some pics of my second run. I got a little too excited and gave it too much at the line. Time for a new tire. My Bt015 is at the of it's career. I bought it used after getting a screw in my tire and only got less then 1000 miles out of it. I havn't been very happy with bstones. Anyway, here are the pics that I have.....

That's what a 2.9 60' looks like everyone!
edit: Looks like I was out of the groove......

I'd kill for that many bikes at our track. It's usually just me, 3 street busas that are stretched, the bronze star zx14's with full bodywork, and a couple of top gas bikes (maybe). Sometimes less lol.
