Interchangable mufflers - Brock's

I know there is one system sold by Brock that is designed to allow you to swap back and forth between a quieter can and a loud megaphone(think it was Gen 3 CF and the Smeg). Seems to me all Brock's systems might have the same header. If so, wouldn't it be possible to buy any Brock's full system meg and also a nice, quiet Brock's oval muffler and swap them to the same header?

Here's my conundrum - I'm pretty much set on going with an A-head full system but I can see that is going to blow right on a passenger's foot. It's gotta be loud and smelly and hot for a passenger. It sure would be great if I could get an A-head full system and something else by Brock's that would be more passenger friendly. Would they both fit the A-head header?

do the street meg system. it directs the exhaust pass the passenger area, fairly quiet too. Want more noise, it has a removable baffle.

Thank you Compton. Streetmeg was my first choice but then I started seeing short megs and A-heads and thinking about how stinkin' awesome loud they would be + a little lighter than a smeg I would think. I want the most hp and I imagine that by definition, that's going to give me the loudness I'm craving as well. I just can't see a chick on passenger seat putting up with that. If I can't swap exhausts, I will have to find a deaf heavy smoker with one leg.

All of the brocks systems (sans sidewinder) use the same head pipe and are interchangeable with the change of the muffler and midpipe (just behind the collector). I run a Gen3 Shorty, and a smeg as well. Bought the shorty at full price, and then found the smeg conversion for 150 bucks... so I have two exhausts now .

Thanks. That gives me a path to follow. Buy the Brock's full system i want now and buy a second, quieter muffler/midpipe when I find a nice deal.

Thanks for vid/sound clip, Compton. I heard a smeg on a friend's 14 last fall and it sounded great. Probabley a little louder than most of the high perfomance exhaust I hear on the 4 banger cages but not crazy loud at normal street rpm. I think since I plan to get a quieter exhaust some time later on, I might as well go for loud as hell with the other right now.

Anyone know where I can see a listing of various Brock's pipes that will show ZX-14 dyno charts, noise level, weight and any other vital statistics? I couldn't find anything like this on his site.
